Store opening back up "soon" (facepalm)

Hey fellas,

Took a little time off, especially since it seemed like a good time to do so with the store being down. Came back to the store STILL being down. I'm being told that things are going through "legal" from both our corporate owners and our site providers, but they can't give me an ETA as to when that will be happening. It's really frustrating for me and my family, especially right before the holidays. I can't really do anything to make these guys go any faster since I'm just a lowly parts guy and all, but we will be having a sale as soon as we can get things back up and running.

Thanks for being patient with me, and I appreciate you guys for understanding. Been a crazy year, and it just keeps getting better.

@ Roman - Anyone have any issues with a whistling noise coming from passenger side when traveling over 70 mph? I had this just start in the last 3 months. Only mod I have done in that time from is new mirror covers to complete the chrome delete. I have heard windsheild seal but my truck is 3 years old (CM Plat 2017) and seems odd to happen after 3 years.

Please help the noise sucks......

 

Haven't really heard of a common issue, but I would double check the mirror covers to make sure they are seated completely all the way around if you haven't already. That could potentially cause a noise like what you're describing if it's off, especially on the inside edge of the mirror closest to the truck.

Can't be shut down this long without loosing everyone who's working there. I can't see any business closed this long and owing lots of money open back again. Unless, under different owner.

Yep. After this long, it's what I suspect as well.

The dealership franchise has value, but if the amount owed is a large number, TOCS owner may decide to declare bankruptcy to avoid a big financial loss he can't recover. Lawyers then liquidate the company assets...like selling the franchise to a new owner to pay off the creditors.

Unless, of course, the online business is set up as a separate corporation, which would have been the smart thing to do. Then, it will be the online business that declares, and Tundras.com dudes will still be looking for another go-to parts source.

 

The dealership is still open for business and operating normally though closed today for weather.
Just the online ordering of parts has been shuttered.

 

Can you possibly get status if the online parts will come back?

 

We're definitely not going out of business. It is strictly the online parts ordering side of things that is needing to be reworked. Everything else (sales, service, finance, rest of the parts department) is operating just fine.

 

Any idea how long Roman?

 

Right now, I don't really have a clue. It's probably going to look a lot different as well. We may try selling on Facebook, which may be good for some people. Definitely less fees there as well.
