Appreciate the help. Pulled the trigger on a 60" Hi lift Xtreme jack instead.

By the time you pay for shipping, you would be better off getting it locally from your dealer. Find it online and most dealers will match it.

By slightly bending the base bracket by a few centimeters, the Husky 6-ton bottle jack fits perfectly snug. Zero play and rubber tie down goes on nice and snug. HOWEVER, the jack leaks very the hydraulic fluid very easily. It made a mess in my truck and I returned it. At 35 dollars, you get what you pay for. Instead I just bit the bullet and bought the Safe Jack Starter kit for 179 USD. I tested it out and what a huge difference from the stock jack. Extremely stable even on slightly uneven pavement. All you’ll need for the TRD Pro lift is the u-shape attachment. No extension necessary

Yep get you some 2" thick wood. I got 3 pieces in a storage box with moving blanket and jack stands. Also have a 35" spare under the truck.

It’s ok for stock height. It’s just very sketchy. You need an extremely flat surface in my opinion. Give it a try and see what you think about it before deciding on whether or not you want to buy something more stable

I’ve used it before with no issues on a flat, grassy area. It actually worked better than a bottle jack that ended up leaking.

Forgot to add I also placed it on top of a couple wooden boards to add stability in the grass.

I didn’t want to call BS on your first comment, but now that you clarified, that makes a lot more sense that you used the wooden boards to secure the stock jack better. To each his own.
This 6-ton bottle jack only required less than 15 pumps to lift rear the tire from the axle. Pretty quick compared to how many times you have to turn the stock jack. Also, correct me if I’m wrong but the stock jack isn’t rated for 6-tons, yet both have same height.

Yeah, it probably wouldn’t be that stable without any boards underneath. I’ve never tried it without at least one board, though. I cut several boards myself to fit both the OEM jack and the bottle jack that failed. The bottom board is cut wider than the rest for both. I don’t stack more than 3 boards. I will say that the bottom board sunk into the dirt and grass when I jacked it up, but I expected that since it wasn’t hard pavement.

I also got an Army surplus scissor jack for a Humvee that’s rated for 3 tons. It has a wide base, and I had to get an adaptor for it. It works well on pavement, but I haven’t had a chance to test it out on dirt yet.

And about a month ago I got Harbor Freights aluminum 3-ton floor jack. There’s an outfit that makes and sells a skid for use in the dirt. I haven’t gotten the skid yet, but plan to. I’ll just need a stable bed mount for it when I do.

    Can’t ever have enough jacks!
