Question for you ladies and gentlemen ?

Anyone have a stereo unit that keeps rebooting. My rig is a 2020 and it happened 3-4 times. I don’t know what is the cause. I read somewhere that if you have a smartwatch, it could mess up the stereo unit causing it to reboot periodically. Maybe its a bluetooth issue, I don't know.

I happen to have a smart watch to help me loose my shit locker. I hope it works but I doubt it.

Anyways, for you scientists’ out there who know, chime in and let me know. And for the rest, feel free to chirp as this is a good place to get a good laugh.

By the way, I wont get offended, you can make fun of my 80’s hair style and no need to report this thread to get it removed (Inside Joke). I wish that OP “Poison” would come back, that was a fun thread lol !! We were kiddddddding

All I can say is I don’t have a smart watch and my 2020 HU has been flawless.

Mine does it very intermittently. It has been awhile. It hasn’t happened enough for me to establish if there is any common factor, like smart watch, etc...

For some reason, my last iPhone upgrade threw EVERYTHING off, including the stereo. I went from a 7 plus to an 11.

...phone was screwed up, watch was screwed up, it’s all fine now.

Search "reboot" on the forum. There were issues years ago (2014ish) where they were replacing the head units and it looks like there are some TSB's for the 2020's

My 2014 did it, took it to the dealership for an update, never did it again. Now my 2017 has never done it, had it almost 3 yrs.

Had my 2014's replaced as well. Never a problem since.
