Hey guys, i have an 01 tundra, and i looked around for the thingy thing ( the receiver unit for a key fob) and im pretty sure i dont have one.. anyone have some good reliable recommendations on how i can install a key fob unit for my 1st gen? I have a key fob for my camry and man it just feels so much more nice to be able to just lock and unlock my doors with a key fob, thanks.

You can add keyless entry to any car or truck. Visit your local car audio shop

Are you at all handy with wiring?

There’s not an easier vehicle to install an aftermarket keyless system on than an older Toyota.

I’d estimate the difficulty to be about the same.
Get a universal remote lock system from Amazon, Walmart, etc. and follow the directions.
