I ordered some steps for my new truck and they came in and don't think I like them. They are the Iron Cross Patriots, overall looks like a nice product I just think the step may be too wide for my taste.

    What have others gone with?

    thanks!

haha --- I like the pics I see online, they just seem big upon first look ... once I get the brackets and mounted they may look nice

I know you've pics, but here are mine with a couple of angles for you to see. To gauge how far they stick out, my wheel / tire combo is 295's and +18 offset

I just put a set on and really like them. They barely extend past the wheels but provide enough width for my kids to climb in without hassle.

Unless the truck is lifted I'm not a fan of any of the stock or aftermarket stationary steps, hence the reason I chose to go with the AMP research powersteps. If u can justify the added expense over a stationary step I highly recommend them. They aren't obtrusive and don't detract from the look of the truck. I have the OEM brushed AL steps that came on my '17 1794 CM if any are interested in a cheap set, they were on long enough to get the truck from the dealer to my garage (about 32 miles).
