Steering wheel wrap

Got my Wheelskins wrap today. Open it up and looks like the tan and black will match my 1794 interior perfectly. The girlfriend can sew and has more patience than me and loves a good challenge. Ill post pics as soon as it’s installed.

Just ordered one. Can’t wait until it gets here. I bought this truck used a couple years ago and the steering wheel is a bit discolored a few spots.

 

Small tip found in a instructional video, double stitch in these locations , really helps tighten up the stitching and prevents any wrinkling in the leather.

 

Damn ErikTRD, that looks amazing! I like the stock look of the 1794 but you are right in that it gets slick as hell sometimes. I may have to do this

Got my 2020 Tacoma leather steering wheel in. It is brand new. Even came with the controls and the darker grey colored plastic. Now I don’t have to paint my silver one. Took 20mins max.

 

My wheelskins cover came in the mail yesterday and I installed it this morning. I messed up in a couple places where the thread could have been pulled tighter but overall I’m happy with it. I thought about getting another spool of thread to redo it but decided to leave it for now. I am putting a black with red stitching shift boot on and I think I will get another wheel cover in black with red thread.

 

Installed the Amazon wheel cover last week. Took me 5 hours, took my time and tried to not make to many mistakes. For $50 it’s a quality leather.
