@LOTSOFTOYS has one on his truck and he recommended it. I trust him.

Thanks guys. I hope so too. I am looking forward to getting the truck back and out of this dang "no ball" ford focus. Delayed a few extra days waiting on the delivery of the refurbished rack.

I've seen their website and wondered if they were legit. I think I need a rack for our Sienna and was looking at them. I'm sure you'll share your thoughts.

Aren't these steering racks prone to trouble? Especially with any lift? Makes me wonder if it's healthier for the rack to do a bracket lift.

Purchased truck used from private party. No extended warranty. The trucks warranty for items like that I believe is up at 36,000 miles.

Common issue. Nothing i did caused it. No jumping of the truck or anything like that. Just backed into my spot at work and it started making loud noises when turning the wheel.

There is another rack rebuilder at carsteering.com. Their price wasn't too much more then Rack Doc. $400. $400 give or take seems to be the going price for rebuilds. Anytime you can save $600+ is a good thing.

Yeah, taking days off work for is doesn't sound good. So what do they think the life of the replaced rack will be!
