Around $40 it'll be annoying but not too expensive

My truck is starting to hurt my feelings. I just restrapped the outer CV boot and it’s leaking grease again. New Toyota boot too.
Might not be the best pinch on the strap but it’s on there super tight. Just cleaned it but it leaking from this strap/section of the boot. The side closest to tire.

I have a passionate dislike for that type of strap.

Seems like my aftermarket axle straps are of the solid and wider variety. Triple the width and solid (no holes) strap compared to Voss’.

Have a link for those straps? First I used Toyota straps but they’re next to impossible to tighten. Then I got these cause I thought I just wasn’t able to tighten the Toyota straps properly.

They came on the New Aftermarket Axles. Unsure of their make. They look wider and with no holes. Went back on some old pics. They aren’t wider, but they are solid. Might be holes on the other side?

I went to a fastener shop. I got stainless narrow band pipe clamp style. Worked well. Before I put it on I slid boot back wiped any grease off on boot edge as well CV it attaches too. I took original to shop so I had correct width. Many are too wide for channel it sits in.
