I noticed when I started my 2000 tundra that their is a slight rattle for 1 to 2 seconds then it's gone, it's been cooler outside as well. Anyone know what it could be?

I have a buddy who has a similar issue with his 2000. Toyota mechanic told him it was a tappet rattle and nothing to be overly concerned with. Can't say for sure that's what's going on with yours, but a possibility. And welcome to the forum!

Edit: forgot to add that he has the 4.7l V8.
