Best recommendation for cleaning stained seats? Seem like these material just attracts stains. Was thinking about adding scotch guard? Any recommendations

When I got my new 2016, the first thing I did was get 2 cans of scotch guard and sprayed every inch of my seats thoroughly and methodically. I have no idea if it really makes a difference, but I do know that anytime I have gotten a spot or spilled something I just wipe it with a clean damp cloth and a little Dawn dish soap and the stain magically disappears. It certainly cannot hurt anything. I do the same thing when I get a pair of shoes that have suede on them.

    What material?

I picked up a bottle of something called "Natures Miracle" at Petco long ago. It worked to take puke stains and blood stains out of my seats, center console and carpet. My truck just has cloth interior and velour like console.

Don't ask about where the stains came from. :drevil:

A poorly packaged burrito bowl from Chipotle leaked bean and barbacoa juice all over the black seat in my Mustang. I'm not real particular about that kind of thing but the car was immaculate and it smelled like burrito and there was crusty dried cumin on top of the fabric where it had been filtered out by gravity.

I stopped by a detail shop. He couldn't work me in but said just use warm soapy water and a brush and just keep working it softly. It came right out. I sucked it up with a shop vac and I was good as new. No water spot or anything.

All subsequent burrito bowls have ridden in the Weathertech.

I'm more interested in the stain source. Are they biological?

Naughty stains? The kind where the windows get all steamy? Think of the scene in the movie Titanic involving a Model T.
