    FYI the SSO is only rated for 10k. I am sure the 12k winch wouldn’t hurt. Just make sure you are not going to push the limit of the bumper.

    The tab on the right is slightly up. I didn’t see any damage to it nor is there any scuff or damage to the powder coating. Nothing to indicate that is dropped. I thought I saw a someone on here with a similar photo. I may be wrong but I thought so. The packing is remarkable and there is no damage to the shipping box to indicate damage. I dunno

    Might have got bent in shipping. If I remember correctly I had the same happen. Had to take a rubber mallet to it, get it to bend back a bit. Think I was also able to get some flex back to it by hand too. Pushed the hell out of it to bend it back a bit.

    Thanks for the really great write up! Really wish they made this for the Gen 2! Awhile back I was in contact with them and they told me it was coming. But, that was 8-10 months ago. Hope they decide to do it as I think a lot of Gen 2 owners would go for this. I would in a heartbeat!

    Yeah that's exactly what happened to mine too. U can push real hard by hand and probably bend it back. That's what I did. Used a rubber mallet at 1st and then tried bending by hand. I was able to get it to bend back by hand.

    Yup same exact happened to mine. If the carriers dont follow instructions about which side up, the weight of the bumper will shift and put pressure on it bending it up like that. It's not a big deal, rest assured, same exact happened to me. At first I laid it flat on my carpeted garage floor, so I could hit it with a rubber mallet to bend it back. That worked, but j found it easier just to break out the ol hulk strength and just bend it back by hand. Both sides when done should look the same on same angles. Hope this helps.

    Glad to hear you easily got it back to where it should be, I remember it being an easy fix too. I'll admit though, I was bugging when I first saw it.

    *****Anyone considering this purchase, should read this next paragraph below, I think it's important for me to mention this.*****

    At that time, so early into the release of the bumper for the Tundra, I was 1 of the first people to purchase it. I didnt have anyone else to possibly lean on that could ease my concern. I forget, it was a while ago, but I either called or emailed the company around 2 am on a weekend figuring I'd leave a message to hopefully be returned on a business day during the next week. I was blown away when the owner, a couple minutes later, immediately responded to ease my concerns. That meant a lot to me and should give anyone considering this purchase some peace of mind that you're doing business with a great guy, someone who cares about their customers, someone who's willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase. He also told me that if for whatever reason I wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out he was willing to stand behind his product. His level of customer service blew me away and I thought that was important enough for me to mention to others considering making the same purchase.

    I also remember saying the same thing too about the people who deliver our goods. I guess things as simple as fragile or this side up means nothing when you're delivering so many boxes day in and out. Unfortunately some delivery people just treat it as just another box in their way of getting home. Not all, but some.

    Guess that makes sense, I didn't see the white 3500 in vehicle field until u mentioned it. Well.....................
