Disagree but I’m a queen with my vehicles. The cool air seats on my sweaty butt seal the deal.

Ordered a SR5, but Salesdude called me when a Limited OR came available in the DCLB color I wanted.

A bit more chrome and a bit more $ than I had planned on spending but

When I bought my 22 it was Army Green TRD Sport look or I would have likely stayed with Ram. I have the premium package with 14 screen, Softex and 360 cams. Covid days the perfect one popped on website at a dealer 2 hours away where I used to live on a $5k under list end of quarter dealer wants more allotment sale. I dropped everything drove down and signed on it.

I thought I would miss the ventilated seats but with deep tint and no sun roof no issues. The Softex is much better on not being too hot/cold that the leather in my past 2 trucks.

    Zero issues and loving it

Love my trim level on this truck, it is sweet, this is why I had it built with every single option except with the lift because it can't be paired with the AVS,but the platichrome had to go.
    But that's it.
The 22's paired with 285/55 Geolanders G003,just sick looking.

I got an sr5 added a sub and the tailgate button. I do wish i had the sunroof folding mirrors though. Overall pretty happy , just didn’t think 10k or more was worth it for the limited/platinum.

I had been wanting an SR5 since they came out in 2022, I reallly felt that the SR5 would be perfect and I didnt need any extra crap, then,When I finally decided to go out and test drive the SR5 TRD offroad with my wife in May of 2024 we jumped in the SR5 and my wife and I both looked at each other and said nope, it was so damn plain and basic, we decided to move up to the Limited and I'm so glad I did. I really didnt want the pano roof but after checking out both i really dig the Pano roof especially living in San Diego with a mild climate, If I were somewhere were it snowed and rained a lot I would have passed on the pano roof. Just my experience but everyone has different needs and wants.

Am SR5 we with the premium package is pretty much the limited interior. Hard to tell a difference.

Debating grades of plastic is a waste of time. Nine of the Toyota plastics are as cheap as the stuff Ford uses

I have the SR5 premium package and yes, it is very similar to the limited. I love everything about it but it doesn't have the vented seats (among a couple other things the limited would have but nothing else really mattered to me). That would be nice down here in SC. I am working on trying to figure out if I can add this as a mod. Haven't made it very far but have part numbers of components and all, just need to figure out wiring.

In normal times i probably would have gotten a limited or maybe a platinum but frankly at these prices all trim limes are way overpriced

I see newer high spec trucks all over my town, people are buying them so they can't be overpriced. They issue is that the US dollar (and many other currencies) are inflating at a massive rate which tanks the value of the currency. Devaluing the dollar is a massive hidden tax.

They are way overpriced and people are not buying them i see rows of tundras on every Toyota lot i pass by. Part of the real problem is car manufacturers want to make expensive halo cars instead of middle class vehicles
The fit and finish of a capstone is laughable for the price considering the features and quality of the truck

To each there own is what makes the world go round.
Also, most here have made their purchase on several decisions to what fits there needs, what you want in a vehicle and the botton line, what you can afford without going outside of your lane.
I couldn't be happier for you, that you've found your killer deal trim level, and that you are so excited about it to the point that you can't see going beyond it with all of the bells and whistles.

Me on the other hand, enjoy everything about it & probably the best vehicle that I have ever owned,it has exceeded my expectations for what it is, and then some.
I chose everything on it, right down to the additional color.

You misunderstand me. The trims of all levels are way overpriced. I have no fanboyism for my sr5 like the original poster. I just didn’t see the value of 10-15 k more for the features offered. The inflation of trucks is ridiculous i expect much better from any car maker wanting 80k for a vehicle much less a pickup

I agree that everything is waaaay over priced.
    I couldn't see 115K for the Craptor I liked it,but it's a ford.

110K for the Chevy I priced. Just nope.

I have always been a Chevy guy and it was a tuff toss between Toyota and Chevy.
But for the Toyota creed of reliability, craftsmanship and loyalty to there customers that was going through my mind to pull the trigger.
Not to mention there highest trim level being way under the other two I felt it is a no brainer & felt it's worth a shot, and so far I'm pretty damn pleased with my decision.

The SR5 trim is a fantastic trim level for the Tundra, and an excellent platform to build off of. If you don’t care about the tech, a lift/wheels/tires, audio upgrade, and katzkins and you are good to go. They make it easy to put anything you want in these vehicles now.

How about Volvo's top trim (which makes Platinum a "meh") to SR5? :)

Partially agree. I want manual windows. When I sleep in the cab and it gets cold at night, I want to crank up the window without all those electric struggles.

    :)
