What ballast did you go with 50w or 30w?

Compared to what? Stock or some other HID kit in your spyders?

I went with 5500K, I never even tried the stock H9 halogen bulbs that came with the Spyder, but I heard they are terrible output. I'm comparing them to my old retro I had, with DS2 Morimoto bulbs. Obviously the retros were a bit better output, but the H9 HID i just installed are just fine.

Did you have to get a high beam splitter to get your high beams to work on both side. Currently, only my driver's side works since there's only one connection. Or am I just doing something wrong?

I use the 35w morimoto HID kit in my spyder headlights. No melting or anything like that. Been running them for a few years.

I’m having trouble installing some spyder headlights if anyone can help. Where does this wire connect to? Most of them are plug and play except 2 wires that I have left.

I just cut a round hole and used the pass through grommet that comes preinstalled on the HID wiring.
