I have Line X extra with color-match (they used to call it). After 8 years, it looks pretty much the same except messy bed. Love this stuff. This was when I got it. I had it without tonneau cover for a few years. No fading.

Thanks for all the feedback. Decided to go with Line X. Just had it done this morning!

after all the research I've done on reviews and opinions, I think you made the right choice. I too am requesting quotes from Line-X dealers. I love the color match. Good luck

Had Line X for eight years, it held up to a lot, but if I did it again I'd check prices on both first and probably just go with the cheapest. They're both nationwide, lifetime warranties, right? I know most folks like what they got, but I want to hear from somebody that's used both in their own trucks before.

Any idea what the factory/dealership puts on? My truck came with a liner (and cover), I wonder what it is and what to expect from it. I'd be surprised if it's as bomb-proof as Line X and Rhino (literally, if you haven't watched the videos then you should YouTube it). I want to know what to use to repair it if/when it gets dinged.

While at the Richardson toyota dealership I looked at the Platinum Tundra, Line-X was sprayed on along with all the stickers on the rear window of the truck. Dealer says it gets added at the GST in Houston. I assume GST only use LineX.

Just curious about one thing while on the subject of spray-in liners. I will be adding Line-X to my Tundra. Has anyone had someone at a Line-X place to have the word Tundra done against the cab like some of these trucks that I’ve seen from the factory with a spray-in that have that? If so, I would like to have details please.

Been thinking about that as well. Looking to get line-x sprayed in my truck next week. Thinking about color matched and tundra in black along the cab and maybe black wheel wells too. Just to be a little different

I'm having mine done Monday in Erie, PA.

    499 - Line X
    599 - Line X Premium

I'm debating whether to go premium or not....

My 2018 came with that crappy plastic slippery drop-in liner. I have had line-x regular in the past on other vehicles and it held up pretty well. I think with the bed mat in the back it would be even better. It's not a priority for me at the moment however.

It looks good but for $500 -$600 its low on my priority list. I dont usually beat on the bed of my truck that badly. Weather in AZ is favorable so I don't really have to worry about salt and corrosion. The plastic liner is janky and doesnt look as clean or neat as the Line-x but given the other factors and price ...just not high on my priority list. Now for $300 I might be swayed sooner. Its just going to come down to subjective assessment and the other factors discussed for each individual. Is it worth it or not? Depends. I think, in the spirit of the topic, line-x is definitely the route to go with...it seems to get the best reviews. Is there a comparable product that would save $200-$300 from the price of Line X? Not sure one exists. Rhino Liner used to be decent but haven't seen any long term reviews on it personally.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I had a drop in liner for my '11 Rock Warrior. Had it in there 8 years(bought it in '10). I have used and abused the bed of that truck. Zero problems with the drop-in.

I wonder if there is any significant (50lbs<) weight difference between spray in and drop in.

    Ok, 2 final questions.

Should I do over the rails? It has the deck rail.

Spray the bolts and tie downs?

Thanks for your help on this.

Opinions might differ, but here are mine:
I would not do over the rail.
I would not spray the bolts, for ease of removal if needed in future.
I would spray the tie-downs since they get abuse and are prone to rust where the paint is scratched off.

Yup. Used that setup for 13 years in my old Dodge 2500 and from new in my 2016 Tundra.

And I’ll add another vote for LineX over Rhino.

I paid $600 out the door for linex premium. The standard would have been $500.

who is missing the center pin on the forward bed rail? looks like they couldn't get mine back on because of the thickness of the bedliner.
