So since the time I got my Tundra I kept hearing a clicking sound coming from the sunroof if I had it opened. It was driving me crazy and then I realized the wind deflector was moving up and down depending on the speed. So am I correct that when the sunroof is open the wind deflector will drop down a bit when you hit about 40mph and then go back up again when you slow down below 40? At least that is what is what mine is doing.

A little of this and a little of that.
You got it. At least that’s what mine does too.

This was driving me nuts! I thought it was a defect and was going to raise it next time at the dealer. These trucks are smart! Although I am not sure this function is really necessary.

The deflector adjusts to speed to prevent the annoying air pressure thumping in your ears. It does not adjust if back window is down on Crew max. No need to.

Mine adjusts regardless of the back window position. 99% of the time if my sunroof is open so is the back window and the wind deflector most definitely moves.
