Whats the largest tire that will work in spare location with coachbuilder shackles? In hindsight I should have kept my toytecs as I was going to go up to a 295/70/18 and I dont see that working. maybe a 285/70/18?

The 285 and 295 are within 3/8 inch of each other. You may have to remove the bracket to get it to fit. There are posts showing the bracket that I'm referring to.

An idea for you, not sure, just a thought.
Might be able to deflate a tight fit a little bit and carry an air comressor in case you need the spare. Like I said, just an idea.

I have a 295/70/18 underneath. I ran it for about a year before I took the spare tire guides out. No issues while I had the guides in. I’m running a +3 CB shackle.

I seen this thread a while back and was curious about it as it seems the shackles is resting on the tire. I guessing theres no issue as long as the suspension isnt drooped?

Was it a new tire or one a little wore out?
