    Glad you folks enjoyed the Pinnacles and the surrounding area. And, also glad you folks have been keeping an eye out for trash. I run out to Trona every time relatives appear.

    At Jawbone Ranger station, you can get some pretty good maps of the entire wilderness. Todds Outdoors in Ridgecrest can give you some local info prior to rolling east. Local Ham Repeaters that cover that area are the Trona Machine and Randsburg Repeater cover a lot of that area too. Go to the Sierra Amateur Radio Club for repeater frequs and offsets.
