I have an odd setup. I got some 2.5 IFP up front set to about 1.5” of lift. Rear fox 2.0, stock height. Didnt looks for anything crazy just less of a rake while having a better performing suspension setup.

now I do have Camburg UCA which give me a bit of caster; about 6.4 degrees. So I get some camber while turning.

I’m looking for spacers to widen the stance a bit, give me more clearance between the wheels and suspension components. I believe the trd pro wheels are +60 offset. Looking at maybe a 1” spacer. Would I run into any issues with wheel assembly?

The stock skid plate rubs while performing fully locked turns, so I’m changing it out for starters.

Nope can be done with no problems, lots of folk run 1 to 1.25 inch spacer. Use a good brand and follow instructions for install, more info here https://www.tundras.com/threads/wheel-spacer-recommendations.22106/

on your skid plate, no need to remove it due to rubbing, you can trim or bend the ends where it is rubbing with no issues. Search the site here for more info, has been done many times. Or, if you swap to TRD plate, that one will not rub.

Sounds good, was wondering cause I think I saw people say you need to mess around with studs while using a 1” spacer. Which I’m trying to avoid.

The TRD plates look pretty neat. I’ll look into those.

    thanks

I'll give a vote to Bora's here only because they're made to the size you want. NOTHING against Spidertrax as they're the only other option I'd suggest (ran Spiders on a Jeep that was off-roaded regularly for years, no issues). I went with Bora's because I wanted 2" spacers (effectively reducing my offset to +9mm roughly with stock TRD off-road wheels, 35x12.5 wide tires). Here's an image to show the resulting aesthetic. Bora or Spidertrax, nothing else. Bend the skid plate. You'll be fine.

Those all look clean. What size spacers are those. I’m looking at 1”. Yours seems to clear the studs, I’m wondering if a 1” would?

Those all are Spidertrax spacers. They only come in 1.25". If you want 1" specifically, you'll have to get them made by Bora.

Gotcha, any pics with wheels on. I’m running little bigger than stock 275/70/18, about 33”. I drive a lot of freeway to stuck with skinny tires

I ended up snagging a trd sway bar for 150 and trd skid plate for 380 both new from maita toyota in sac. Labor Day sales looked good.

I got a nice deal on Alphaequipt 17” Echo wheels, they cleared the brakes and are +35 offset so about the inch I was looking for.

quiet honetly still on the fence about the wheels cause the BBS’s look pretty clean.

Yeah I believe the the BBS’s have those pockets as well. The 17s look nice and I’ll probably go with 285/70/17, almost the same size as the 275/70/18 I have on rn. I just know the Pro wheels are better built and look neat. So kinda sleeping on it rn.

After a bit of research I decided to stick with the pro wheels. Better made, weight about the same, and I don’t want to have to go through the trouble of dropping some more money on tires.
Also when I initially reached out to alpha, one of the employees said they’re 6160 T6 treated. Later they said it’s not T6 treated. I’m not really jumping the thing but I’ll stick with better built wheel lol.
Final thing was the alpha’s weren’t hub centric. They look neat tho.

I’m having hard time finding Bora or Spiderax 1” spacers for 5x150z I came across Titan and their site lists their hub and wheel centric, and they’re 6160-T6 aluminum, which all sounds good. Right now they’re about 100$. Anyone used/experienced the Titan products?
