Haven't seen any hit the lots in FL. Dealership keeps pushing back delivery noting a "hold" from SET. Just got bumped another 3 days.

Seminole. Checked all of them in a 30 mile radius though, nothing on a lot. Tried all of Jax to see if any got a delivery since the SET processing center is there and nothing there either. Figured closest to get first delivery.

Hendrick Toyota in Charleston SC was supposed to get a delivery last week. Hasn’t shown up. Don’t know any specifics about a hold.

You can do a Tundra "build" on the Toyota web site and when complete, by your zip code, it will show you exact or like builds in your area and a default selection of local dealers to inquire.
You can rest assured though that they're all claimed for.

I didn’t realize my initial half-typed speculation was still in my post. Other regions have 60 and 72 month options. They aren’t 0%, but still lower than others may find any their local lender.

They do have that too. Anything longer than 36 months or if you don't have high enough credit for the 0%, there is a 2.9% on the loan I believe which is the rate I believe all other areas are offering currently. Its just a matter of will the trucks that were supposed to be there this month actually make it there before the offer expires.

Ah, gotcha. I didn’t see any longer options when I looked at the Southeast deals. I’d much rather buy local, but I agree that it’s unlikely anything arrives before end of month. And none of the local dealers I talked to had a Platinum coming in. It was all SR5, Limited or 1794.

I put a deposit down on a 2022 SR5 CrewMax 4x4 with the TRD sport package on 12/3 in Utah and I have not heard anything about build dates yet from the dealer. The dealer did tell me it would be 3 to 6 months for delivery. I hope its not that long.

Update 12/20, I got a call from the dealer and mine has a build date scheduled for 1/17

Update 2/14, my truck was finally built on 2/10 and scheduled to leave the railway on 2/11 with a delivery date of the first week of March. Its hard for me to believe that it takes 2 weeks to get from Texas to Utah.

A week after the hold has stopped, roll out is still at a crawl. Within 100 miles of me (Orlando) , 23 dealerships, only 3 Tundra have been delivered thus far.

Distribution is at a crawl everywhere. The sales manager at my dealership in Nevada said that there are only 65 new Tundras allocated to the entire state of California through the end of Q1 2022. They have 2 sister dealerships in Southern Cali and neither one had taken delivery one yet.

It's going to take months before distribution is anywhere near "normal" again. I would imagine it'll be at least summer before people can regularly expect to actually see one on the lot & test drive it before purchasing it. Right now, most are selling while "in transit."

I couldn't take it anymore so I have started a back up plan. Drive a 2021 king ranch. Full hybrid. Great looking truck inside and out. The whining from the electric engine was terrible. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. It had 9k on the odometer. I had the guy drive it past me two times and even with the gas engine running it was super loud. I had a 2017 f150 twin turbo and the lag was better then on this truck !!!!! With the electric there should be less. Needless to say the f150 will not be my plan b

Look at the positive side….hopefully by that time, they will work out all the kinks in them. Less trips to the dealership for us.
