I was at the dealer today getting service and on the showroom floor they had a 2017 Tundra with this in it. It splits the console in half for those who don't like the full vault. Also has a tray on top which the Locker Down version makes obsolete. And it is key or combination so there is a backup. It has full steel on all sides and bolts to the bottom of the console. It can only be ordered from Southeast Toyota dealers as far as I know. I ordered one from Micha at Sparks and his price to us is $255.36 plus shipping. Shipping to me made it 275.00 out the door. My dealer here in NC wanted $309.00 plus the tax.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the Locker Down Vault I just like the idea of two compartments and having the tray. My car is my office so I think it will work better. I will be posting a Locker Down Vault in the classifieds once this has been received and installed.

I like this. I wasn't fond of the other since it eliminated the ease of use of the whole center console, assuming one kept it locked at all times. May have to add this to my "want" list. +1 for additional pics.

I like this a lot. I really want/need one of these and not losing the whole glove box is a huge plus for me.

This is nice. A serious contender to the locker down console vault. I won't switch, but might have gone with this, had it been available when I bought mine.

Nice find. I thought it would be half a box and the other half of the console would be left alone, but it looks like it takes the whole console but is seperated into 2 sections.

Damn. Now I've got to have this. Did you do install yourself. Difficulty level?
Also can we get this from Roman at Cool Springs. I would rather buy there if possible.01ca095635d57ef43965c3c6a68707efae2aef8b28d24e8315d61a6ed9f7a7ef.jpg

Easy to install. Remove the four bolts in the bottom of the console insert and use the four bolts that come with it. That's it.

Not sure if Roman can get this since it's a southeast Toyota item.

I like it. It came in mine I bought last month. It seems pretty solid so that you couldn't break in it unless you planned to with the right tools. It's something a wandering thief won't get in to most likely.

I don't have a center console, I have the 3rd seat up front. I guess I need to look into changing the seats out to get a console.

    This.

I have the bench seats up front and after seeing this I want to trade in for the big middle console instead of the 3rd seat!

i like this, seriously considering it. but aren't those cylinder locks shit? I remember back in 2000s people learned you could open them with the end of a Bic pen. there was a recall on my $60 kryptonite bike lock i was using in college. they sent me a new lock for free with a new lock style.

The combo luck appears the same quality as the locker down combo lock only 3 numbers instead of 4. The key is primarily a back up, although could be used instead of the combo.

I think it just depends on the daily use of the console. As I previously stated the locker down worked fine for me, however when this came out I realized it would be easier for me since I work out of my vehicle and am in and out of the console all day. To me it was worth the expense to buy it and then try and sell the locker down. (which is listed in the classifieds at a great price);)

They start by someone (could be you) talking to a manufacturer or sales representative for a product and persuading them to offer a discount based on a quantity purchase. Keep all the conversation COMPLETELY confidential or some people may shop your pricing
