    Happy Friday. And what a wonderful Friday it is. Just drove through the construction on 2 going westbound. Eastbound is already backed up. Glad that I'm home now. Only need to go to HEB in a bit for beer and such. Truck's in the shop getting an oil change and a couple of things looked at. I think that I'm having chicken and beef fajitas tonight.

    Currently 64. And the HEB in Mission right off 2/83 does make the tortillas from what I can tell. I haven't tried the butter ones.
    I had Delia's tamales at our work Christmas lunch yesterday. They are quite good.

    I'm liking RGV. It's a nice area. But I was asked a question yesterday after our employee Christmas lunch about a new position that's a pay grade higher than what I currently have. It would be virtual with travel. I told them that if it were to come to fruition, I would move back to DFW.
    DFW is my home, just like RGV is yours.

    I ain't going out there. The traffic this afternoon, coming through La Joya to Mission, was absolutely the worst except for traffic on I-35W on the north side of Ft Worth.
