    Escape House scheduled for this weekend. My youngest (18) has always wanted to go, so we shall go.
    But there's a problem. Torchy's Tacos doesn't have a location near here. The closest is 3.5 hours away in San Antonio. Their Taco of the Month is the Rebel Yell. It's me and my wife's favorite. It was a 20 min drive when we lived in north Ft Worth. It's a day trip here.... for a taco. Yeah, a day trip for a damned taco. Now we wouldn't just go for a taco. We'd plan out a tour of the Alamo and other stuff. But that has to happen this month. If we don't get to a Torchy's buy the end of this month, it will be over a year until they have it again. It probably can't be this Saturday as there is something going on at Anderson Bean Boot Company in Mercedes this Friday and Saturday. And that brand boot is the only brand that fits my foot well enough for me to wear all day.
    And my oldest (22), who is Autistic, really wants to go back to SPI. He got into a Zen moment standing at the water's edge a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful thing. I'd never seen him do that before. I was overcome with emotion to see him zone everything out and let everything go. There's lots of folks that can't do that but he, with his Autism, can. It was so cool to watch.
    I did tell the wife that when we moved down here that we weren't going to just sit around. Even a family fishing charter is in the pre-planning stages. I just have to research it more so that everyone has a great time.

    Man didn’t even know there was a Torchy’s in San Antonio interesting...... yea sucks they don’t have one here yet. But that’s pretty cool about your kid having a Zen moment at the beach, there’s something about just being at the beach listening to the waves crash and seeing the water that just makes you forget about everything and makes you relax. Especially fishing. You check out the dolphin watch they have haven’t tried it yet but I will hopefully this summer with my family....... Have you tried any Mexican taquerias yet?

    I tried Taco Palenque over here in Mission. I don't think that I got the right things to be able to appreciate the place. I got some tacos that were kinda bland. But I think that's how things are with Mexican food. Tex-Mex has a bit more flare with regards to flavors (peppers and onions).

    Got a call from some exceptional American citizens that protect our Country. They pulled right up to the bank so I could jump on and help them get things squared away.
    There was some pendejo on the other side of the river yelling obscenities about our mothers in English. The armed men that I was helping had a name for those guys on the other side. "Knucklehead" was the descriptive word used. "Just ignore them. They hate that more than anything", the guys said.

    Negative. Far west of that by about an hour and a half.

    Yeah, it's pretty cool. Even when I worked for the FBI, it wasn't as cool as this. I'm living the dream. Great employer. Great manager. Great coworkers.
    Like... I haven't met a bad person yet. Never worked at a place where everyone that I met is mission focused and is pretty laid back because everyone has to work together.
