Awe man that sucks. Well you missed a good show. But traffic and amount of people was crazzyyy. We couldn’t even cross back on Sunday it was back to back on the causeway 4 hr wait. We ended up camping out on the beach again and leaving early the next morning.

 

Did anyone go to mini meet?

 

No didn’t get to make it, a bit further out for me and had a time crunch on other commitments.

 

Yea I was trying to make it but had a graduation and by the time we go out and have lunch it was already late to go oh there. Then I just noticed the beach run I have my cousin 15ñera. What bad timing for me lol

 

Yeah everyone was graduating on Saturday! Hopefully will make the beach run the week before that is also the TTC beach run. So that’s two weekends in a row.

Yes both groups different weekend in July.

Good morning all! Finally summer break for me! Waiting for tundra parts to come in to continue my de-chrome project. Hopefully by Wednesday!

 

Are you going to replace the grille and bulge area? If so where did you order your parts? I haven’t had time to go check locally

 

Yes eventually that’s the final parts I’m going to replace. I’m going to purchase thru Roman with Toyota of Cool Springs. I think with shipping and everything will be around 500 I think.

 

@farmer307 we have the same truck color..what size tires aren’t you running and lift?

 

Right now I have a 2.5 level in front and a 3 in back. Got it installed for $350ish at Lopez tires in mcallen.

Also went looking for the grille here too at the Max auto parts in Donna and I want to say it was around 150-180 already in Black I just didn’t get it at the time

 

Also running stock tires
I put on the black rhino wheels which are on 20s but still the 285/55/20 tire the dealership gave me. I’m stingy on tires lol but I think we’re clear to run 33s or 305/55/20 because my brother has the same lift but with Toyo mud tires

 

Okay yes i have 2.5” from Bilsteins nothing in rear as Horacio from Big H customs didn’t recommend it. I want To get 285/65/20 but Idk if they would fit that’s why i ask About your tire size. So are you going to do the white surround and grille and black in middle? What modem was that grille? I need To check that place out. I’ve seen it off expressway. I want The TRD Pro Grille

 

Yes I want to add the white bulge with a TRD pro grille white and black and the 285/65/20 should fit if you have the stock rims. If I got 65 it might rub because these wheels are a little more offset than stock but I don’t rub now but I want to get a little bit of a taller tire once I leave this job I’ll slap on a new shocks and coil overs this job took a toll on my suspension

 

My dad has the level blocks same as mine and blistens and his is way smoother than mine same height as well maybe just a half inch difference but he also has mud tires too

 

Yes i have The same tire size as you 285/55/20 i think We are at a 55+ off set ....stock rims. I also have Spidertrax spacers too so i think It will def rub with the 285/65..but just have to remove front flap from what I’ve read.

 

@farmer307 does that max auto parts get a lot of Tundra parts?

 

I’m not sure but I know they can order it if they don’t have it
