I have an 03 4.7 2WD with 103k on the dash. Id like to soup it up a bit, the mods I’m planning on are:
Thicker Sway Bars front and back
    New suspension (perhaps lowering it)
    Big brake kit
    Wheel Spacers

I’d like to get a noticeable power increase alongside handling improvements and I’m looking for suggestions for both that would be worth my while. Also cosmetic mods would be appreciated, just nothing that draws too much attention. thanks!

Just sayin', and not trying to be a smartass, but you picked the wrong vehicle for that.

Don't install 'hot air intake', you'll lose power.
Don't bother with oiled filters, you'll clog the MAF.

You can eek out a little extra power with long tube headers, other than turbocharge/supercharge, you're not going to see much for gains with that 2UZ-FE. It's designed to run a million miles, not to run races.

I'm biased, but this thread is worth a read: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Now that's how you get power! And tons of bolt-on easy mods to choose from!

And it's also how you turn your 100k-150k engine into something that needs to be rebuilt in 30k-60k miles. Been there, done that.

It's a spectrum, I'm here for a moderate amount of both.

And I'm definitely on the spectrum, also.

I dont think i'd want an aluminum block or high compression on a truck (i know the titan is aluminum, but its 2wd & doesnt have a hitch. Basically a crossover.). Low rpm and cool would be the ticket. Thats my main beef with the 2uz, it wants to spin, but has 2 bolt mains & '03+ has weak rods.

im not happy with ethanol gas, wouldnt hurt my feelies to swap in a diesel.

Dirt Deeds injectors, Addco rear sway, AEM dry flow air filter, last ever set of Stan's Try-Y headers, Borla full custom exhaust, front level, wheel spacers, and lots of electronics.
Lets go be real for a moment.

    Headers - $800 - $1,200
    Exhaust - $500 and up
    Suspension drop kit - $800+
    Hellwig Sways front/rear - $1,200
    Supercharger - $7,000 - $10,000
    Built forged w/ARP long block - $9,000+
Turbo - $900 (kit only, no engine managment)
Cams with valve springs - $2,000+
    Ring/pinion (RWD) - $1,200
    Injectors - $400

And that's if you do your own work. Some of those parts require specialty tools. Pick your poison, and how much you want/care to spend.

I have a dyno proven 30ft-lbs of torque at the low end and only 5hp at the top end by headers, exhaust, injectors, and having all maintenance items new. Spent maybe $2,500. Granted, I designed my system to make low-end torque.

Want to feel quick? Re-gear your rear end to 4.30:1 or 4.56:1 with stock sized tires and get some headers. You'll zip around town and have some nice passing power on the highway. Trust me, it will feel plenty quick enough.

Want to race Mustangs and Corvettes? Spend $20,000+ on a built bottom end with a supercharger at 12+ psi. Your stock rods are only good for under 6psi.

As stated by other folks in here the 2UZFE is built for the marathon, not the sprint. These motors are proven to make some serious power but the Supra and Lexus guys who swap in the 1UZ and 2UZ engines are doing it with fully built motors. The 1UZ can handle 700hp with an MLS headgasket and head studs. 2UZ has the displacement but weak connecting rods.

I'd like a day to play with fuel pressure, compression, and cam timing to find my perfect 200hp @ 2000 rpm engine. Might be neat to see what a 2uz can do as a 2v engine. 12 hole injectors & golf ball intake ports & polished exhaust ports.

Wanna win stop light races? 4.88's and a sonnex trans with a compushift controller. Could launch in 2nd and wet any panties within earshot.

Good point; I'll have the elves knit up some custom panties for him and make sure to leave them unwrapped under the tree...

That should make for an interesting Christmas morning conversation in the Toasty home

That's 525 lb-ft of torque. Surely not something the 2UZ is going to eek out willingly, even with forced induction.
