I lived in the Seattle area for 7 years and that is absolutely one of the most scenically beautiful places I've ever lived. And because Canada is so close, you can always go there for the weekend. Whistler, B.C. is like a postcard absolutely beautiful.

Awesome! I will never attempt to snowboard again. I did that in Salt Lake City and fractured my coccyx. It was a long and painful airplane ride back to San Antonio!

Yike, that must have been the longest plane ride ever. You should try it at whistler, it's like falling on pillows, with all the fresh powder. But after an injury like that, I don't blame you.

I don't like to ride when it's icy. Fresh powder diring the day is obviously the best option. Sometimes after sunset the conditions get a bit icy and absolutely feels like concrete.
How many times total did you go snowboarding? After the first few it's like riding a bike...

I have wondered to and fro, from one end of the country to other, and am currently residing in Jacksonville, FL, home of one of the worst teams in the NFL for 7 years in a row. The wife and I plan on moving away from skeeter country when I retire in another 4 years, 10 months, and 3 days (Not that I'm counting)! Hope to land in the mountains of Georgia or East Tennessee. Hopefully we'll find a plot of land with good, clear lines of sight so I can get a good clean shot off at 1,000+ yards!!!

My girl broke her tail bone the first time also. She has padding for protection now and feels 100 times more confident it won't happen again

But yeah she was miserable and in pain when she was recovering.
