Solution to Bad Parking Problems?

Just thought I’d share one of the best parking spots I’ve ever found besides my own driveway. This is at Del Amo mall. There’s another one on the other side of the mall similar LOL.

 

And it's shaded. Bonus points.

 

I think the only time I’d double think parking there, would be in a storm. Palm fronds litter the city after a big storm LOL.

I spotted this from across the lot. I just had to have it!

 

I would guess mental due to the insane lift and tires. They wouldn't be able to climb into it if it were physical. Hell, I couldn't climb into that without a ladder. Bet it drives like a dream!

 

My rig is pretty long and can be difficult to park. I swear parking spaces are getting smaller. I will sometimes pull through 2 spaces and the ass end will hang into the space behind. WITHOUT FAIL, I will return and some asshole has parked behind me and pulled within inches of my hitch. Look around, and there's a sea of empty spots. What the fuck is up with that?!?

 

This also needs to be in the "what makes you angry" thread. I dont get it either. People are dumb. They cant park without another person beside them to judge where they are because it escapes people to know their vehicle well enough to put it where they want it. It flabbergastes me how so many people couldn't tell you where their front end or ass end is when driving.

 

Couldn't agree more. It's a bit scary out there. Check that, it's really scary. And they're breeding.

 

When my wife rides with me, she always closes her eyes and focuses on breathing evenly when I park my truck. I don't understand her anxiety, I've showed her many times and told her just as often that I'm very good at fitting large objects in small spaces

 

Soooo, many lines, so little time!

 

Sooo I'm sitting in the bank lounge and admiring my truck and parking spot. Sitting next to my wife.

I always use to make fun of trucks backed into spots in the parking garage at work. Now I realize (because I do it now ) it is so they can use their back up camera to not hit the wall with the front of their big a$$ truck , lol

 

It's also easier to move in tight spaces. Otherwise you try to cut in sharp and your ass end doesn't get lined up right. Front wheels move front end more so when backing in compared to stationary rear wheels following as you park.

 

Much easier to back into a stall than go head in. I don't have a backup camera, but I'd much rather bump my hitch on something than my front bumper. I've been doing it for a while now though so I'm getting pretty good at realizing how big my ass is.
