    Hahaha

No man that’s not quite it. I love vehicles. Performance vehicles etc. I take pride in mine. I have first hand experience with both and I don’t feel the Raptor is overpriced. Is it perfect? No. Will it last 100k miles? Who knows. Not too concerned about it though. It’s all good fun at the end of the day. Fan of both trucks

Lol because you have some change you’re saying that “We”, as in, people who own Tundras, use money more wisely? And when you say “We” you must mean me as well because I own a Tundra, right? Some great logic there. I’m assuming logic hasn’t made you your money. But I’m sure your cheerleaders will be very happy to see you have the money for a Raptor, but chose not to buy one. Yay for youuuu. Btw what kind of 1980’s calculator did you get that screen shot from anyways?

Yeah that's pathetic. I got a tundra because after 12 years it's just getting broken in. It's a truck that lasts. Not a mid 20's ken block wet dream. It's a truck. If you wear white framed Oakleys, chugging a can of monster walking into the Toyota dealership they will assume you made a mistake and send you over to the Ford dealership

@Thegr8punkin i’m not going to interject other then I don’t think there is one thing wrong with owning in 08 tundra. No reason to get rid of it if it’s doing everything you need. It’s ridiculous to make fun of the age of someone’s truck regardless of how much money that person has. It’d be throwing away money to get a new one just to have a new one. Which is fine if that’s what you wanted to do. But that’s the whole reason to own a Toyota. They keep going and going which is why there typically isn’t a need to replace it. That was a stupid dig and childish. I think you’re doing all right for 22 years old brother.

Now let’s try to keep it classy around here everyone. Don’t get sucked into the pissing match. While it is entertaining! We all know the tundra is a great truck. It’s not an off road monster off the show room floor, but if you build it right, it will be a reliable purpose built rig. In my opinion it is the best platform to start with unless you need a tow monster (HD) truck.

    Agreed. Douchebaggery at it's finest.

Nothing wrong with owning an '06 Double Cab, neither.

Hell no! Nothing wrong with that either. My brother-in-law owns an 06 and I love that thing! So does he. Him and I love the talk shop about all the Toyotas we own. The first generation tundra was always appealing to me. I love the size and the V8 option. When it first came out I wanted one but my finances as well as holding on to the American manufacture idealism kept me from doing it. I finally jumped on board and not looking back.
I love my 2003 Sequoia and my wife’s little 08 Scion. I’d really like to get an old Toyota mini truck as the DD. Maybe even a single cab 4 x 4. If I had the money I would have a huge stable of different Toyota trucks and 4runners.

My Daddy use to tell me, "the empty can rattles the most". I think we should let it rattle, sooner or later it'll go away.

I loved my first 4runner and love my current 4runner. Been talking to a coworker about buying his 87 turbo pickup off of him for a damn steal. Already have to parts sitting around to make that thing a complete bad ass rig with what I want to do

For sure man. I think I’d like a turbo 4runner better, the a truck will do. I wanna do a tc lt setup up front and a training arm set up in it. Couple that with duel transmissions, single transfer case. Have 52 selectable forward gears and 50 reverse gears, it will be bad ass

My neighbor who I bought my property from - 2006 double cab. I had no idea he was worth 100mil. Wouldn’t have guessed by his Tundra. This was 5 years ago before we built. He’s still driving the same truck.
I’m sure if you passed him on the freeway you’d chuckle to yourself thinking you’re a better man. You’re THAT guy.

ETA - sorry, my last post - since I know he can’t respond LMAO
