Where'd you get that black fuel door cover? Vinyl wrap?

 

I cant remember where. Its solid but just a stick on. I do have some wrap that I have never opened though. I am either going to order an actual carbon fiber door or do the vinyl but I wanted to see how it looked first before I paid for the real one or spent the time taking the fuel door off and wrapping it.
Im still not sure if I like it but I havent pulled it off yet either. What u think?

I cannot belive there are so few posting pics. These Solar Octanes must be pretty rare.

 

My son just picked up his in Michigan. Msrp.

 

My dealer just got their second allotment that was supposed to be black but ended up being another Solar Octane. A guy in South Louisiana got it so there are only two that we know of in the state. Ive only seen one other Pro at all around here in the last 4 months and it was Lunar Rock.

 

3 months. 10,000mi. Treated her to a good wash this morning, then over to the city for oil change #2, tire rotation, and the video/mirror software recall fix.
Still have zero complaints other than lack of tow hooks up front but I have a CBI bumper and red recovery shackles sitting at home to remedy that. I’ve just been too busy to find enough time to put it all on.

 

I like - I am about to do something similar. Also got the black vinyl hood wrap from RLM Signs.

I'm anxiously awaiting mine here in Canada, third revised ETA since being built is this week. I haven't seen any other SO and I know my dealer has had a black and a white and I'm getting the first SO. There's about 4 or 5 dealers in my area and although I haven't been watching their inventory as closely, I've only seen one TRD Pro off a dealer lot and it could have been one and the same as the one my dealer got in (white).

 

Where is this at?

 

Has anyone lifted or added 35” or 37” to TRD suspension? Or is it required to do something else to the TRD pro suspension?

35’s fit stock. 37’s require a small lift.

 

So 37” will fit with a westcott 3 and 1 and nothing else?

 

I swapped out for 285 75 18's and no rub. I think it makes the truck look better and ride is just as good as factory.

I’m back to drawing board yet again. Was contacted for a second time by a dealer today. “ are you still interested in a TRD Pro?” Yes I am. Please take my deposit. “Ok sir. Please give us a credit card number….oh we’re sorry. It already sold”.

 

That's gotta be frustrating. How far are you willing to travel for one?

 

Probably 10 hrs. First one was 5 and this one was 5 hrs away

 

I don't know your part of the country, so idk what that equates to.

I live in Wyoming and I'm setting up a purchase in Texas to get the Tacoma Pro I want at MSRP. $1000 in travel costs and a few days driving beats the $5K-$10K that places within 5 hours want to charge. Plus, they're the only one that has actually said definitively they can get me the truck in a reasonable time frame.
