Nice Looking Truck! I didn't know that you can put a 2017 TRD PRO Grille on a 2018 Truck? Did you use a stock oem sensor or aftermarket?

 

Thanks! Ya @Roman from Cool Springs is really helpful. They actually have a grille/bulge combo set up in their online parts store so you don't have to fish around for the grille and bulge separately.

The stock sensor is on and it isn't covered up. If you look at the last pic I posted it is below the Y. I didn't bother covering it. Zero issues at all but the guy I have working on my truck knows his stuff

 

Nice ride, and welcome from Portland, OR. How did you mount the front radar sensor? Pic? I also have a 2018 with a 2017 grill, and my TSS performance has to this point been less than awesome.

 

Thanks! I'll be outside in a bit and take a pic (in the rain). I think the key is having someone who knows how to level it properly and has effed up a few in the past haha. Seriously though. The guys that work on my truck for me for stuff I can't do are awesome.

I figured. First time I drove up there I saw I sign that said the speed limit was 110. There was a flash of excitement...then I calibrated myself...

 

High heat matte black paint. Would have to check what brand it was but they were blacked out all the way up. Not just the tips

 

I have to opposite problem

Come back to a 70km/hr sign but haven't changed truck back to kms.... Ooooops

How loud is the Borla compared to stock? I’ve never seen/heard a Tundra w/that exhaust. I think most folks here have done either Dirty Deeds or TRD exhaust. Also, here’s mine:

Love the cement! That was the original colour I wanted couple years back

The borla is low drone which is why I got it. I can hear my music and have a convo on the road/hwy with zero issue. If I gas it, you hear it, but when I start it up at 4am to go to work, or idle, my neighbours don't want to kill me

If I had to compare, it sounds like the TRD Pro exhuast when you turn the engine over but sounds like a muted Flowmaster when driving.

 

I personally like how the Borla is a rear exit exhaust. Now you got me thinking about that instead of TRD Dual Exhaust.

haha ya it does but the beauty of my job is I do 4 shifts on, and have 5 days off. so I'm good with it
