When I bought my truck it had these super chromed out tail lights that I hated. So I ordered some factory ones. I was showing my friend my new truck and pointed out that I had new factory tail lights on the way. He told me that I had factory tail lights, they were just under these god awful chrome "stickers". Sure enough I pulled on them a little bit and they popped off. I immediately cancelled my order and got my money back. I am very happy with the factory tail lights. Please excuse this picture it still had some adhesive on them, I got some goo gone and got it all off.

Thanks for sharing that. It was nice hearing some self depretiating humor.

I got a dictionary book full of dumb and costly moves.

There are some chrome lovers out there. I don't mind it on some vehicles in certain colors. Most Tundras look better with less though.

That's what we call cleaning up the trailer park queen to see if she's actually a keeper. Did they bedazzle the seats too?

You may want to paint those stickers black or color matched and throw them back on. They look like a good design...minus the chrome.

Someone paid $100 bucks for them. Must not have been a big seller as CCI no longer offers them.

Glad you were able to cancel the order. I've made similar mistakes that I was unable to cancel in time.

On a side note are there any decent looking aftermarket taillights for the 2nd Gen? I've yet to find a set that really catches my eye.

They actually might not look to bad if they where color matched to the truck.
OP send them to me I will try it for ya.

Howdy from DFW and nice(r) truck:thumbsup:

I would try to paint match or paint black, style is cooler than not, but not in chrome:puke:
