TLDR; Turbo not worth it. Buy Supercharger kit.
If no supercharger, stock intake or do the 05+ plastic intake.

@shifty` Were you able to find just the K&N tube anywhere? I wasn't able to, nor the Airaid tube. Nor the Airaid JR kit for the Tundra.

Went ahead and ordered the K&N 57-9027 kit, and will put the filter in the garbage upon receiving it.

That's the downside of the Lunchtable. Separating the wheat from the chaff... on a thread with 2500+ pages.

Oh well. Ordered the K&N kit that uses the stock air box for $230 on the jungle website.

Suppose I'll call K&N tomorrow and see how much just the elbow is and weigh the cost of sourcing the bits and bobs vs what I paid for complete kit. Good thing about Scamazon is the free returns.

    Thank you as always shifty.

There are companies that sell 2UZ Non-VVTi supercharger kits. I do not know if there are any chassis-specific things required to make them work. I would imagine you would have to modify the wiring and engine control scheme to some extent to adapt for boost instead of vacuum, and increased fuel consumption.
