You're in California so what your gunna have to do is find a guy that will get it passed for you and that will cost you a cool bill at least that was my guys rate to get it passed when ever I had to get new cats, or you can get extensions from the DMV because those codes look to be about a 2k fix.

    Louisiana welcomes you.
Did some quick research and found this.
    Steps:
    1. Keep the truck.
    2. Set aside the money it would cost to bring it up to CA money-grab standards.
    3. Use funds to move to Louisiana and go mudding and hunting with us (our gun laws aren’t like CA either)

I'm in CA and when ever you purchase a vehicle in CA it is the sellers responsibility to smog the car before the buyers takes possession. Take it back to the seller and demand your money back or go to court. Nice idea to register out of state and drive in CA, but if you get pulled over and have a vehicle registered out of state in your name and a CA drivers license-it's a $10,000 fine! Our great sate wants your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$! Be careful!

It is your engine code that's throwing the California issues ... you must have a flex fuel truck. 3UR-FBE that seems to be the factor that other codes do not have. You might want to look into that one.

Yes, true normally on the fact that the seller is required to have the vehicle smogged prior to selling but the OP stated the truck was titled in NV. Even though the seller lives in CA, if the truck was never titled/registered in CA, the seller would not be required to have the truck CA compliant smogged prior to selling it since it has technically never been legalized to operate in the state of CA. There is no court case here to pursue. The onus is on the buyer to be sure they are purchasing a vehicle that can be legally operated in the state of CA.

I am not sure why that doesn't pass but reason is because of the flex fuel.

Get yourself some insurance on it and set out for where ever your heading if the truck runs and drives fine. Most states give a simple infraction for being unregistered. Good luck.

    Some.
Not likely. When you clear the codes, it resets the parameters of the system which triggered those codes.
When the OBD II is plugged in and scanned, the screen will display "NOT READY". The tech will inform you that the vehicle cannot be checked at that moment and tell you to come back at a later time after driving it. They don't even have to put the sniffer in the pipe to fail it.

I'm getting a lot of evap codes. Also catalytic converter codes.
Would installing a new canister erase those codes for the evap? I put a new fuel cap

    Would this fix my evap??

Can't help but wonder if your vehicle's original catalytic converters were stolen and you're now running cheap aftermarket swaps that'll never clear the sensors.

In California, your vehicle can be impounded if your registration has been expired for more than six months.
