Wow well at least you had the other wheels there. Should be minimal trimming with as much lift as you have. Did you go check out what he talking about

No, he's across town, but I knew a little cutting was done with that CMC but I wasn't aware that some times the bumpers are cut?? Anyone with big tires or big offset ever had that done ???

I've seen a cut bumper. And they removed the liner. Hopefully if they grind your bumper, they don't get lazy and just remove the liner. They should be able to get the liner back on with a little bit of work.

It's no big deal. Less of a deal than the CMC.
I'll take pics of mine tomorrow for you. I actually did some trimming recently

Bumper and liner trim on mine. Not bad. I'm gonna get creative to block snow where the liner has been cut. Might do it this weekend when I'm putting bumper caps back on. I'm literally standing in a parking lot waiting for @COMiamiFan to deliver the goods

YotaMatt chopped all the way to his fog light bracket to tuck 37s on a 8" lift.

Like I said, it's not grinding the bumper that's the issue, it's not putting the liner back on that would bother me.

What's your offset on your wheels?
What rim size do you have?
What size tire are you running?
Is it a 7" BDS lift?

I would also look into coach-builders steering ends at some point.
Are you going to keep a rear sway bar with the lift?

They trim the front bumper and retain the stock fender liner. Usually one area that tends to rub with a big offset or big wheel is the body mount. If this is an issue they can cut the body mount and weld in a steel plate. This will give you more clearance and eliminate the rubbing.
    Before body mount trim.

    After body mount trim.

    What are steering ends?
I'm sorry but I dint even know what a sway bar is, or is it on my truck already?

    Flux capacitor!
Here is a pic showing the steering ends. They will help with keeping your alignment true with the oversized tires.
    IMG_4549.jpg
Rear sway bar pic. The sway bar helps remove body roll. Your Tundra comes with a front swaybar already. The BDS kit comes with longer extension links to offset your lift. If you decide to do a rear sway bar with a 7" lift I suggest you have coachbuilder extend your end links. This will keep the main sway bar closer to its normal geometry angle. If you plan on off-roading a lot then you may not want a rear sway bar. A sway bar limits articulation on the truck as well.

I know coachbuilder has a shim kit made for the 7" BDS kit. It helps retain better driveshaft angles, front alignment & ride quality. If you call David at coachbuilder he can better explain the benefits.

You don't have to do them. It will help your ride quality and alignment though.
