The style from @inhouse_fabrication in Australia beats them all.

Hiya folks. New to the forum here with my 2nd Gen 5.7 4x4. In the process of "modernizing" and noticed this post. Seems odd that the only option for a snorkel is the Volant, that I'm not crazy about and that ARB has snorkels for just about every other model and generation. Hmm. Anyhow, I'm considering buying the 3rd Gen ARB snorkel and modifying it to fit a 2nd Gen, realizing some plastic welding and epoxy will be involved, but really like the ARB design, give me your thoughts on that. Also, with the ARB snorkel, are you required to buy their CAI set up or will it work with stock airbox (w/ or w/o modifications)? Not a big fan of dumping $400 on a Volant snorkel then have to buy their $300 CAI, seems like overkill when a bit of shade tree ingenuity would do the trick with the stock box, would appreciate your feedback on this one too. Thanks all!
