If I'm reading this right, and I'd like to think I am, we can just show up to Snivs house any time and he'll give us his truck and some candy, but we might have to clean his shop

    Awwww....HELL!!!
I really wish I hadnt seen this!!
But how small can you go with the pulley without risking damage?
And do you need a new tune when you do it?
I'm guessing I should probably wait until after I bring it in for it's 400 mile check up.
I need to get out there and start driving around aimlessly again today.

Yeah...it's times like this that I wish I wasnt retired or still had access to a Lathe and Mill.
Used to make all kinds of Shit for my Truck.
I've been considering getting a Lathe and Mill for the Garage.
But they'd have to be used, but I've run some pretty crappy machines over the years where you had to jump through hoops to hold a tolerance.
Like tapping the dial to get out taper when the ways get worn out.

Yes I would definitely recommend a tune, and my advice is to consult with the tuner and see how far you can push it or what modifications are needed to do what you want. There's a couple guys running the 76mm at sea level but that's with upgraded injectors at a minimum. The 81mm might be fine without different injectors, but I would still recommend a tune or at least data logging to ensure it's safe. The Magnuson setup doesn't leave a lot on the table as far as upping the boost without needing upgrades.

    Thats pretty slick!!
Way better than the old torch method!!
But then as little as I jack with bearings it would be kind of impractical.

I'm going to assume this is where the RTD Module comes into play.
I haven't really done any research on it as of yet but it seems like a pretty handy device.

There are several guys in the General S/C Thread that reside in various Texas locales. Asking there will get you more first-hand accounts.

Im in Lago Vista. I use both HPT and VFT. I’d be happy to help you, and if you need dyno time, I can set that up too. I’d want more time with the vehicle off Dyno to run numbers, then if you need, can get it over to a shop with a Dyno and make fine adjustments. There’s a guy in Houston, Jeboost at TEQ Auto Solutions with a Lap top and access to OTT. If you don’t wanna travel, go hen he’s your closest. I’d suggest sending a request to him with all your info and copy Justin to n it as well so they can get you the right stuff. Also another guy Kaleb is a traveling OTT guy that visits Houston, with Lonestar Yota Tuning. You could also touch base with him and copy Justin on it to make sure you get the right stuff.

It’s my Tacoma world user name that I’ve kept through all the Toyota forums. A mash up that I’m a Texan and I own a Tacoma.
