What hellscape nightmare hole of a place do you live in??? No way I could have posted this because I'd have collapsed from an MI immediately.

    Some.
Sounds like a call to insurance is in order.
Insurance should pay for it as an act of god.

You guys, I think were looking at this all wrong.

That lil guy was just trying to see where the mysterious 8 gallons go that you can't use in the 38 gal tanks!

    Too many, but not enough....
Is your truck under the fuel pump recall? If so, let the snake dissolve then take it in for the fuel pump replacement.

Most places in the country this time of year are a little cold for snakes. Even here in the FL Panhandle.

Well @Bayport, if you weren't such a cheap skate and sprung a little extra for the Gas Cap Snake Rejector option, you wouldn't be in this pickle.

Check the build link in my signature.
    What. The. Fuck.
How the hell does this even happen? Do you get gas under some sort of tree in the jungle?

It's only 6 gallons on my tank. I get a solid 32 to empty.

If there's anything left, you are at a minimum required to post pictures of what ever gets pulled out of the tank.

It was in the fine print when you created your account.

I hope for the love of God that you don’t have Allstate insurance, by far one of the worst insurance companies out there, I used to do work for Allstate and hear of all the agents horror stories about their customers being denied claims, at one time there was earthquake insurance in California from Allstate, they didn’t pay one single claim from what I was told, I wouldn’t insure my dog with allstate

Ok, talked w a long time mechanic.
He said as small as it was (7 inches maybe and half diam of pinky finger) that he doesn't see how any material would get past the filter on the fuel pump and then past the fuel line filter.
