    Quick question.
Is there supposed to be or what seems to be a small hole in the top/forward facing part of the steering wheel? Is it part of the steering wheel manufacturing process?

'18 CM with a small dimple at the top. It's normal. I also daily a '01 with a small dimple right at the top as well. It's part of the manufacturing process of it.
