I think it probably will. Funny Lucas told me without hesitation that LSDs need friction modifier.
Also to clarify mine is less of a noise and more of a feeling in the rear. Literally a split second clunk. Did get better when I added 3 ounces but not gone.

Took my truck for a long highway run and I actually notice the slip/clunk/vibration when turning under acceleration from a dead stop was more noticeable in the rear when I got off the highway. Not sure why that would be?

Haven’t added the extra ounce yet but I see my future dumping the diff oil and going with something else.

I wonder if driving it like this isnt good? I have notice that upon slow acceleration while turning I get no noise at all.

Just a quick update as this may help others in the future. I added another ounce of limited slip additive for a total of 4 ounces. Initially I didn’t notice a difference even after driving around town for what seemed like an hour. By the afternoon I noticed all was quiet. I thought it might be due to the temp warming up from the low 30s to about mid 45 but I think it just takes time to throughly mix. I’ve done another 6-7 test drives with the truck at varying temps and I notice no slip or noise at all. I’m calling this cured. I used Lucas 80w90 conventional gear oil with 4 ounces of the same additive recommended from a post earlier in this thread.

Thanks for all the info here.
I mistakenly put Lucas full synthetic 75w-90 and 2 LSD additives (4oz) and got medium chattering/skidding during turns under 20mph.
I drained the fluid a second time and put exactly 3 quarts of Castrol 80w-90 Gear Oil, Limited Slip. (No extra additive- parts store says it’s already in there).

After driving a mile and making 2x 360s in a grass parking lot- all scrubbing disappeared.

    Hope this helps you.
