Nice! How does it drive, especially at higher speeds? When I went bigger on my Silverado I had a real bad shake and bumb once I hit 70 mph. I think there was something wrong with one of the wheels, but makes me a little gun shy now on going with bigger wheels.

I can definitely feel the difference just rolling down the street but it no longer stock so It takes some getting used to I noticed yesterday once got up to about 65mph it was a lil bumpy so I went back to the shop and they corrected it after I left I got up to 80mph and it was smooth whatever they adjusted seemed to fix the problem

That's cool. Yeah I had a '14 Silverado 1500. Got XD Wheels and BFG 275/60R20 on them. Looked awesome, but when I hit 72, the front got real bumpy. Drove it a little bit, never went away. Took it back and they did a tire rotation, that then caused the back to bump. Put new tires on it, still bumped. I had finally had enough and fought with them to just return it all and put the factory back on. With all those problems and a couple other things, I decided to buy the Tundra. So happy that I did!

Wes, I installed my interior LED's and it was an extremely easy project to do. I also did the vanity mirrors without any issues. All are plug and play.

Exterior LED's (Cargo, 3rd brake lights and license plate) weren't any harder to do.

Nice, I like that. Can you share where you bought them and which ones? There are so many different LED choices, I dont know which one to go with and will work. I'll just buy what you got, Ha.. Thanks!

BTW, what is that center console top that you have and why does it look different than min? Did you change it or it come that way? Oh, and how are the wheel spacers?

It looks like he has bench seating with shifter on the column @TTU19 that's why his center console looks different

Yeah I thought about that but couldn't see it well enough to be positive. And I wasn't sure how the bench seating looked in these, ha.

Wes, these were purchased through Headlight Revolution. Selection is pretty straightforward. Quality on them remains to be seen. Looks like they should hold up well, but time will tell. Look into vleds .... if I were to do it again, I'd possibly go with them as I really like the quality switchbacks I purchased through them.

Bingo, Nick is correct. When I purchased my Tundra I didn't even notice that Tundras came either with console or column shifters. I guess I was blinded by my wife saying go ahead and buy the truck. Kind of wish I had gone with the console shifter, but my wife likes the bench seat to get up close to me.

Law, my wife feels the same as your wife. They are alittle to bright for her taste but hey it's my truck.

I'll have to check them out then. Any time I've looked into LED's there are about million different ones, and then i push the x button on the window, haha.

Exactly!! She told me the same thing, I told her "baby, when you drive this thing more than I do, feel free to tell me what I can and can't do to it"
Needless to say, I didn't get any lovin' that night LOL

    Another silver...

Here is my truck before I installed the coilovers, only had 3.5" Maxtrac spindles:

Because the Tundra is pretty big truck, I did not think it was proportional in height to the size of the truck. Plus, when someone asked if it was lifted, that was when I made the decision to make it a little higher.

Added Fat Bob's coilovers, adjusted them to 2.5" (they are set at 3") to give me 6" total lift. Took off the 33" tires and got some 35's.

Not super high but in my opinion much more proportional.

Welcome Brother Johnny! Happy to have you join us and of course you'd have to have fender flares on your Tundra. Actually if my wife didn't request a Crewmax, I probably would have bought one just like yours.

My 14 CM Platinium still stock since new but thinking about a 3/1 lift and wheel and tires,
just rides like a dream. Just rolled over 36k.

    image.jpg

3/1 Boss Lift - finally done! left stock rims and bumped up to 33.5" tires. Happy

I really liked the CM but I wanted that extra foot of bed space. My son stated that the CM would have plenty of room for his "bro squad" when he started driving lol. It was a terrifying thought, I almost went with a single cab.

Haha! Funny..yeah I understand on the thought of the bro squad lol...you made a good call. I find I use the CM extra pass room more often than the one foot of extra bed space. Love flipping up the rear seats and using the floor space for luggage during travel or groceries when helping my wife on large food hauls.

Same here. We often go get groceries together on Sunday. Always take mine due to the back seat room. Her Tacoma has no space at all for stuff.

Patriot, Are you fender flares OEM? Everyone seems to have the pocket style flares nowadays. I'd love to see some close up pics of yours from the front and rear.

edit ... just noticed that Marks (VWguy60) are not pocket style ... His lift and wheels blinded me to that fact.
