Been looking for ideas to dress up my Sky Silver Tundra. Tried doing a search on both the general discussion and media areas and not much popped up. Doesn't seem like those of us driving a Sky Silver Tundra have a picture thread (forgiven me if there is and I missed it). Just figured that I'd start one so we can feed off of one another for ideas. Posting pictures from different angles might be nice too.

Here's mine over the last 3 months ...

Not limited to gen 3's, the more the merrier!

Nice! This is mine, well not yet. I get it next week. I had them order it with the fender flares and they are putting the Katzkin leather (black w/ red stitching) in right now. In the future I want to add the TRD Pro grille, dual exhaust, possible 3/1 lift, spyder head and tail lights. Today I'm going to order a part to replace one of the cigarette lighter plugs with 2 port USB power plug. I'm sure there will be more stuff come up.

    Nick,

I'm glad you helped convince me to go with the black spyder headlamps and you turned out to be right, I'm now in the process of switching my Chrome hood bulge and grill trim to silver. I think the black and silver pops better than with the chrome. If I had ordered the clear spyders I probably would have stayed with chrome though.

Looking good Wes! That picture could possibly get me into trouble. I've been thinking lately about fender flares

I got the leather for $900 installed. My father in law works for the company that owns the dealership, so I get it at the employee price. I think its normally $1,200-$1,400 or so.

The wheels are 20" and the tires are a 285/55R20. That is what comes with the TSS AT Black pkg. Along with the black running boards, badges, exhaust tip, floor mats, TSS side decal.

900$ that's a great price I would do it today for that price I most likely will end up paying closer to the 1400$:annoyed:

Yeah, I'm trying to take advantage of it before he retires. Got a lot of parts I need to order, ha. Good Luck with yours. I know I read somewhere on here about another brand and was a lot less expensive and seemed just as nice.

How are you going to go about changing the chrome to Silver body color? I've seen a lot do it, and wasn't sure.

Yeah, after I get my stuff changed over it's dual exhaust time. Wheels and leveling will have to wait. Wes, got me thinking about fender flares now too.

you can order up the hood bulge in Sky Silver (part #76180-0C030-B0) ... unless you order the platinum grill the grill trim will need to be painted. The TRD Pro grill doesn't come factory in silver.

Oh ok, you meant the chrome on the grille. Yeah, I'm going body color when I order my TRD grille. I thought you meant the chrome on the front and back bumpers.

Your TRD Pro grill will still need to be painted, since Sky Silver isn't a Pro color option.

Should look great and you're smarter than me by ordering your grill trim painted silver. I went cheap and ordered mine in black and now have to send it out to be painted. I'm planning on leaving my bumpers alone. As of right now, I like the chrome on them ...

Sparks has some great prices, but since Wes has a "family in", he'll beat any price we can get. EDIT ... just reread his "in" was on the leather seat covers. I've purchased most of my stuff from PageToyota, their shipping cost is lower to me than anyone else. Just ordered my hood bulge and TRD dual exhaust from them on Tuesday, shipped yesterday, expected delivery on Wednesday.

Ha, sorry. This forum website is going to get me in to a lot of trouble too. I also really want the TRD dual exhaust and TRD cold air intake.

I read somewhere on here that its not a good idea to get dual exhaust unless you have headers

Yep, Forum's are the devil ... I told my wife I wasn't gonna do much with my truck and now all I hear is "I thought you said you weren't going to do a lot of stuff to your truck"

I've changed several of my vehicles to cat back exhaust systems and never once ever had an issue. You will get more performance with headers, but in California the EPA would have a field day with me during smog check inspections.

I wouldn't even think to argue with what Keith (DirtyDeeds) has to say. He builds some incredible exhaust systems for our trucks and I probably would have gone with one of his set ups, but an extra $500 plus tax killed it for me. I'm sure the performance gains, not to mention the sound from his systems are even nicer than the TRD system. It was just the cost I couldn't except. As it is, I'll run the TRD system and live with it as I'm not expecting a world of difference for better or worst.

Yesterday around 7pm I saw a very nicely modded Sky Silver Gen 2 on I-80 in Davis, Ca. You got off at Mace Blvd ... Wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy admiring your truck and then you pulled off the freeway before I could catch up to you. If you're on this forum, please chime in and post some pictures.

Great, another one with fender flares ... Lol. Are you and TTU19 working together to send me a message?

Seriously, I've seen that photo of your baby in the snow. I like those MotoMetal MO961's.

Yes, resistance is futile. Get them, man. You will love them especially on silver. I loved them so much that I had to get wheels/tires/lift to match them.

Wow.. go away a little while and BAM, more trucks. Both are very nice! Gotta love them fender flares, haha. I thought maybe the tow mirrors wouldn't look right on this truck, but those both look awesome. Add another potential item to the list. Do they auto fold in?
