I did not yet. I'll bump my post and hopefully I'll get someone. Would be nice to find a template and get it measured or even ship it to guys who want it. Would probably fold into an envelope for a few bucks shipping

Generally the Toyo 285/75/18s are taller than most 315/70/17s, I have a Jeep also and there have been a few threads on there comparing the two sized and showing them side by side. I have 285/75/17s Toyos on my Jeep the sticker that came on them said 34x11.50R17, they are way bigger than the 285/70/17 BFGs on my Tundra but BFGs generally always run small.

I have LT275/65R20 (34.3"x11" per Nitto) on my 16 Platinum and I have had 35x12.50R18 Nitto Mud Grapplers and Nitto Trail Grapplers on my previous Tundras. And I can say without a doubt I much prefer how the 275s perform over the 12.5s. On the farm, it goes through the same mud and terrain without any issues, they are much much better in the snow, and this truck gets decent fuel economy compared to my old Tundras.

Personally I’m of the mind that tires that stick out too far look like garbage...not to mention added wear on your wheel bearings and the ever present laws against such things.

I keep mine just a little past flush with my flares. When I moved to SS Cobalts (I’ve always loved the old school Ground Hawgs) I was afraid they’d suck in the sand but surprisingly they didn’t dig down as much as I thought they would. Great on wet pavement. Haven’t tried them in the mud yet but I’m sure they’ll hold their own.

Gosh darn it, this is a terrible picture.

This is the side view of my truck with 175/70R/18 tires on stock wheels.

I'll have to work on getting better pictures.

this is good insight, most my off road will be on sand. My 275/70's have done pretty decently down at pismo and out in the desert. I'm looking at doing 285/75's, but also thinking of doing a 305/70

Now my debate, i currently have RT's. Trying to decide if I do them again, or do AT's and how the AT's would do in the sand.
