Wow, does that bring back some memories! Titus, possibly when it was still called Moon Valley back in the day, was where I first skied. It looks a little different now. Back then it only had two chairlifts and a rope tow, and was just the area between Long Way Home and Rock Garden (aptly named until mid-season in a good snow year).

Paired the Stratos with some cartel x binding in a cream color... not my first pick in color but they offered 40% off if i took them so i said HELL YES.

Board has really good edge hold and really likes going fast lol. Turns on a dime, floats real well, loves big powder slashes, easy to jump and lands real well. If you're looking for an aggressive board, you may really like it.

Going to mess with the stance some more. Just used their base reference stance and will be moving back. Had a few acrobatic nose dives today lol

It's a really great spot. Right in the middle of nowhere, but not a horrible drive. Just not one you'd want to make every weekend if it was your only option.
But the mountain is laid out really well. Ski onto a chair and can access the whole place by skiing and riding chairs. Not much walking necessary if any at all. And Rock garden was one of our favorites. Some new glades cut over there too.

This was at Heavenly today.. rainy on the bottom half and snowing/gusting on the mid section. Still missing with camera setting and angles(one video has 5k white balance while the other has 6.5k. Can you tell lol?).. I havent had a gopro since the hero2 so it's a little complicated. Skip to around the 2 minutes mark on the longer video to skip the chairlift haha.

just some thinking out loud here.. i need to use my toe side edge way more.. im always resorting to heel side to stop.

any other suggestions are welcome :notsure:

Took a mental health day Tuesday. Found some stashes of soft fresh stuff. Ended the day making last chair on Magic Mile and getting two runs in one of the canyons

Got one run in this morning and my buddy broke his collar bone do switch side turns just a hundred yards or so from the base. Always seems like a safe area to do stuff like that, but very deceiving due to lack of a slope, easy to catch an edge

Ya, we were at Abay, but now at Keystone's emergency room for drugs and x-ray.

The snow was good for the run though! Sucks but these things happen

Yeah, this is mine after my second break of the same clavicle (both while skiing). It kind of crushed the end which made repair fairly complicated.

Just go back from a week in Big Sky, Montana. First time I every went out west and it was amazing. Didn't take a lot of pictures as I was just soaking it all in. Boarded for 3 days but never took the tram up to Lone Peak. First picture below is from out ski in/out condo on Alpine Meadows and then the second is from Six Shooter lift at the beginning of the day. It almost ruined skiing out here on the east coast for me now lol. My friends family goes out every year to big sky and I was lucky to get the invite this year. Cannot wait to get back out there.

Only 2 negatives -- 1st being we left right before a huge snow storm so we missed a great powder day (was out there the 19th - 24th). 2nd was our American flight out of Bozeman was delayed a few times and caused us to miss our connecting flight in Dallas to Philly so we had to get cancel and rebook through United. I might have the worst luck with return flights home -- this is my 4th time in a row that my return flight has been delayed causing issues.

Local hill today after some brutal rain & temps this week. Gonna have to head deeper into the Adirondacks to lengthen the season any.
