I’m waiting for my 21 silver sky 4wd SR5 TRD double cab to be released by Toyota America. It got caught up in the recall before the dealer and I could take delivery. So I have been waiting since Oct. I am old school and I have yet to see anyone mention a few nicely laid out pinstripes following the body line. Not striping tape, but hand painted fine lines. I had that done on my 2000 4Runner and it completes the process of making it “MY” truck. I plan on doing this as soon as I am able whenever I can get my hands on my Tundra and when weather permits. (Its winter in Minnesota now...) Merry Christmas guys!

Downsized the 20" wheels to 18" and was surprised at just how much of a difference it made even with a stock suspension.

Here’s my new Tundra. I know for certain I want to black out bumpers but cannot decide if it’s better to plasti dip or pay for black bumper ends? ALSO. Fender flares came in today….Keep them black or paint match? HELP.

Well it couldn't hurt to plasti dip them. an hour or two and like 20 bucks. I did mine over a year ago. I go back and forth whether to paint my flares.
Not ruling out the covers either but so far I can't see a reason

Very quiet, like barely hear them. wet traction has been very good. I only have 13,000 miles right now so I don't know longevity yet but they seem to be wearing pretty well. But I am not thinking they will last as long as some other tires out there.

Not sure if they have a plain AT or not, these are called ATX the X is black so u can't see it

Originally I plast dipped them and that lasted almost 3 years. I have stripped them and they are now Raptor lined for a more rugged and durable look.

That's what they look like, I just wasn't sure. I have an 08 and I decided I'm gonna eventually get an aftermarket bumper that deletes the entire bumper and finding the right OE style flares is difficult. Buskwacker so far is the only one on my list

Thanks, they are actually just plastidipped as of now. I am eventually going to get the black caps but I did this a year ago and still looks great so I keep putting it off

How has the Plasti-Dip been holding up on your front/rear bumpers? I usually just go for actual paint – but the few parts I have put a few good coat of Plasti-Dip on (not bumpers) have held up extremely well. Nice to have the option to peel it off in the future.

Just dropped by to say that these are some good looking trucks. I’ve always thought silver looked bland on other vehicles, but the silver tundras are sharp. Sometimes I think if this MGM hadn’t caught my eye on the lot, I’d have ended up going with the silver.

I put on a lot of coats and it still looks great. didn't really expect it too, but figured why not. I had done to rims on my last truck and they take more abuse, And that lasted 2 years. the front i may eventually just get the covers but the back i think will last for ever with the Plasti-Dip
