There is a cement color that doesn't have the shine of the Silver. And one thing I like about the Sky Metallic Silver is the way it can change its appearance in different light settings.

It might just be me, but I've always thought there was a more "blue" silver sky, and a more "silver" silver sky... :notsure:

Of course, it could just be the lighting. Not mayn SSMs around here to see in person...

The silver sky metallic is a grayish color when there is a lack of bright sunlight. In bright sunlight it is a bright silver.

This thread is awesome! Thank you everyone for sharing your mods and knowledge. I’m expecting a SSM 2020 SR5 CM next week. Already have the black badge overlays and tundra tailgate insert. About to order the grab handle for the A pillar. I’ll probably keep the TRD off-road wheels for awhile. I only had 16k on the tires on my current tundra. I’ll have them swapped over. They’re falken wildpeak at3s. Thinking I’ll swap out the grille for a color matched platinum or sport version. Anyone have problems swapping the Sensor over? Also thinking about getting the bumpers coated with line-x ultra someday. Not sure. Hope to add pics this time next week.

Hello Tony, Welcome to the forum and especially to our SSM thread. We’re happy to have you join us. I look forward to seeing your 2020 and watch your build over time. Please post pictures when you get the time to do so.

I noticed you liked a few of my pictures and I appreciate that. If you have any questions about my build, don’t hesitate to ask me. That’s what this thread was intended for.

88FB3916-5807-493B-B725-01B0B9F90EC1.jpg I had the Bullet Liner installed on my SSM Platinum CM yesterday. I am quite pleased with the quality. And it was $75 cheaper than Line X yet very similar. I guess the guy that started Line X sold his share in the company and started Bullet Liner. Supposedly a new and improved formula.

I plan on running them for awhile. I've considered stepping down to an 18 since my truck looks more offroad than it did with the chrome on it

took possession of my new tundra this afternoon. Beyond excited. You probably can’t tell how nice the falken wildpeak at3s look on this. Had them swapped off the truck I traded in.
