What size tires are those? And how’s the ride compared to the struck tires?

The tires are 275/70/18. The ride is pretty close to stock. Still working on which psi suits me best. Right now they’re at 35.

What do I do with the leveling motor connection? There wasn’t a place for it that I saw?

IMG_20180311_095342667_HDR.jpg Good morning! Stumbled apon this thread so I figured I'd introduce myself . First new vehicle and first Tundra! Plan on a 3/1 kit of some sort and wheels and tires soon. Currently she's at the dealer for clear bra and tint and fixing a rattling ecu... Been there almost two weeks and I'm starting to go through withdrawals haha . Great looking trucks everyone!

Welcome! Seems to be a long time for a rattle and clear bra, window tint. I had my PPF and tint installed at XPEL. Took them all of 6 hours for both and I had all of the windows tinted including the windshield and moonroof!

Yeah it's kinda crazy to me that it's taking this long to get a new ECU but at least I have a tundra loaner and they are making my first payment.. eta is tomorrow Eve can't wait to get it back..

Oh, they are replacing the ECU. Others have done something to quiet the housing around the ECU. Good luck!

I've read several times that Spiders don't come with leveling motors, so if you still have the OEM headlights, you need to swap over the leveling motors. Might want to do a search for other posts about Spider installs or leveling motor swap. Otherwise, you'll need to tape that connector up on both sides.

Checkout post #650 in this thread. Maybe he can steer you to more info:

I mentioned the housing or brackets rattling from what I've heard from other owners but the are saying it's something loose internally like the circuit board is flopping around.. we will see. Hope it's fixed and rattle free

Yes sir! With 436mi on it I wasn't going to touch it lol . They claim it's still safe to drive but i see bad things if indeed it is flopping around in there. I wouldn't risk it with my Supra if that was the case and won't in my first new truck :)

I hear that...Mine has 12,000 miles on it...just turned 2...I still let them fix stuff...had it in for an oil change and asked about programming the key fobs to the memory buttons (somehow it stopped working) and intermittent BSM (Blind Spot Monitor). They fixed both - turns out there was a tech bulletin out on the BSM and mine had all of the symtoms, including a code. I have a good relationship with my dealer service - all fixed!

Here's mine. It came with the tool box which is nice as I was gonna add one anyway. I'm just not a fan of tonneau covers. Future plans are Bilstein 6112/5160s set at 1.9", JBA headers with DirtyDeeds exhaust (not sure which one yet), Bully dog tuner, TRD Air Flow Accelerator, AFE Pro-Dry S Drop-in air filter, Westin HDX grill guard, Warn Zeon 12 winch, JBA UCAs, RCI Skid plates (all 3), Bushwacker Fender flares (leaning black as they are cheaper and I will have a bunch of other black on it), and the diff breather mod. Also, I don't know how to make this show up correct. Tundra.jpg

Here’s my 2018 CrewMax. I have about 2,000 miles so far and still grinning ear to ear.
Coil overs up front; 295/70R18 Toyo tires; ESP storage, driver’s side grab bar; RCI skids ordered; window tinting scheduled for Friday

Anyone used wrap in Mettalic Silver Sky or some type of silver metallic very close to our truck?
I would like to wrap the bulge and grill frame, but I don’t know what exactly color to order.

Hey guys. Got mine back in the fall to tow our new trailer. But with moving back to Texas and starting new jobs, I have not been very active on here yet. Modifications have been function over form so far:
    OEM tow mirrors
AMP power steps (free from dealer)
    OEM tonneau cover
Rear TRD sway (Clear Springs Toyota, best price and 2 day shipping! Thanks @Roman)
Oh and tinted windows as soon I was back in Texas, and splurged on the black Lone Star license plates.
2018 headlights/fogs may be next, then I might start tweaking the looks a bit.
Few photos below, but I just realized I have more pics of YOUR trucks on my phone than I do of mine, haha.
