Heck, for that price I'd do it regardless of what the wife thought and deal with the consequences later.

I find it easier to tell my wife after it's been delivered. But the secret is to tell her it cost half of what it actually cost, and remove the tax and shipping too. :D

at the end of the day it still helps getting in and out of the truck so if you tell her you got them to make it easier for her she will be happy with the effort my wife said the same she said these steps aren't as low as your last ones ...lol I had nfabs on my last truck those are cool but not even close to these sliders and pretty much the same price but they look so much better imo... @r4z0r51o im sure you wont regret buying them

We've been married 25 years ... you guys aren't telling me anything I haven't already done many a times. o_O

Yeah, I'm sure I'd hear the same thing. By the look of the P&P ones, I'm guessing it's about a 4 inch higher first step than my NFabs.

No, no confirmation on such a great deal.

Been inspired by this build, ordered color-matched TRD grille w/color matched surround & bulge today, color-matched mirrors and door handles, Spyder headlights, and N-Fab nerfs. Pretty much decided on Icon 2.5 coilovers, Icon UCAs, and Icon 2.5 rear shocks. Wondering if this will get me on the 295/70R/18s or if I'm gonna have to go with 285/65R/18s? Don't mind adjusting mud guards to prevent rub, but want to avoid cutting. Anyone have any insight here? I see people putting 35x12.50s on, but I just don't understand how they manage without lots of mod.

You'd think I would, being a photographer as my profession. Lots of damn snow here at the moment, truck is permanently dirty. Plan to give her a bath when the new parts arrive, will do before/after pics then.

Welcome Tony! I too look forward to seeing some pictures of your Tundra in the near future.

I don't know a lot about lifts as I went with a simple level using Toytec spacers since I didn't want to waste money I spent on the TRD package. With my 3/1 level I ended up purchasing my wheel and tire package sized in 20"x295/60's which I believe is equal to just about 34" combined with the offset of my wheels at +20 have caused me to remove my flaps all together at the front and I had to perform the heat mod on my liner to try and shape the liner for clearance. I clear the body mount by about 1/2". I believe Nick @SuperSilverTundra is using 295/70/18's = 34.3" (not sure what offset his wheels are) so he might be able to tell you what he might have done for clearance. With 285/65/18 I'd guess you might clear the liner but might still have to remove your flaps. Keep in mind the offset of your wheels effect clearance as well.

thanks man @tonybeam I appreciate it I have 18x9 wheels with 30mm offset and tires are 295/70/18 I have no rubbing at all and didn't have to cut anything all I did was remove the plastic behind the front bumper and remove the mud flaps if you do go up to the 35x12.50 you will need to do some cutting look forward to seeing your truck post some pics once it ready

Here she is. Although I pulled these Nerf bars and put on N-Fabs today. Also Plasti-Dipped my badges, although I think I'll have to redo it due to cold (not drying well). Sparks shipped my TRD Silver Sky grille today, along with color-matched handles and mirrors. Spyder lights are also on their way (NewEgg had the best price, go figure).

Also went by 4WheelParts today, they seem to think the Bilstein 6112/5100 combo with UCAs would be a good way to go in order to get larger wheels/tires on. This wouldn't give me any lift in the rear, but would level out the front and should make the ride slightly better. I'm leaning toward Method Mesh 18x9 +18, with Nitto Terra Grappler G2s in either 295/70/18 or 305/65/18.

Your plastidip is definitely spitting out chunks. If it's cold out, warm up the cans in warm water before you spray. Makes a world a difference.

Bummer. I'm gonna have to peel this and start over. Or wait until it's warmer out (like 3 months).

@SuperSilverTundra : You accomplished this with just the 3/1 Level Kit from ToyTec?

If I'm not mistaken he is running that leveling kit. I know I am ...I figure I'll continue to do so until I wear my TRD shocks down, Then I'll swap out to some more serious hardware.

Well it's good enough for now ... Not sure how many miles you have on your TRD suspension, but if your shocks are worn I'd suggest doing at minimum some Bilsteins 5100's or spend extra on a good set of coil overs.

Ordered the ESP storage unit today. Nice use of otherwise wasted space. Any other Silver Sky crew got one? Hopefully it's not a POS.
