Curious if anyone has seen a color matched platinum grill with blacked out insert on a silver sky truck I'm willing to bet it would look really good but can't find any pictures of one. I'm debating on doing it myself just have to round up a platinum grill.

 

Don't recall ever seeing any pictures of a Sky Silver platinum with their insert blacked out but I would think it would look good. Wish we had someone on the forum who did photoshopping for us.

Looks great! How were you able to get the TRD Pro grille with the Silver Sky surround? Did you have to purchase the platinum grille in silver and the TRD PRO separate?

 

Thanks! and No, I bought my grill through Sparksparts. At the time they were running a special that allowed for me to order up a Pro grill with the Sky Silver trim (I don't know how they made it happen, but they did. Maybe they had someone paint it ...) I then ordered up the hood bulge which I guess could have been a platinum part. I believe Roman @Roman could have the trim painted to match for an additional amount.

Can I ask which fender flares did you install

 

They are from Toyota, the "Pocketed Fender Flare"

Thanks for joining us on this thread! Which of these two photos is more recent? Trying to see if you installed or removed your NFabs. I'm thinking about taking mine off for a set of sliders instead.

 

The most recent is with the tubes installed - it was my compromise with the wife.

 

Your NFabs are perfect for your needs Dave. Don't waste money on sliders, it's just going to make getting in and out more difficult. Waste money on something else... like maybe a lightbar or katzkins or a bedrack with RTT.

 

I was looking for something that sits tight to the rocker but has a step. I like the look without the step, but sometimes it's a PITA if you don't have them.

 

I'm really liking those P&P sliders but not sure the wife will care for them ... 5 days until special ends so still thinking about it.

 

I was looking to the pics, it does not look well finished in my opinion and it is $650 if powder coated plus shipping on top of it.
What do you guys think?

 

I don't think it looks all that bad. Of course I'd have it sprayed with the bed liner stuff. Shipping cost is a downer though and I don't see the wife caring much for them either as the first step up is higher.

 

Black bumpers with fender flares looks so good with the silver! I wonder if I could pull that off with inferno

 

Damn I really want to do the lift and tires. Problem is no $, haha.. and if I did it, the truck wouldn't fit in the garage. So I'll have to spend more money to modify my garage entrance so it will clear it.

if you message P&P or mac11 they will give a better price when I contacted them I was given a much better price than $650 it was like around $450 shipped and these things are built stronger and better than all those other brands I have seen on around @xando @r4z0r51o
