two days of not getting above freezing, so hopefully I can open the door by Sunday. I’m in Tx I would never make it in some of the pics on here!

Sorry it's not technically in the snow it's on the street but there is snow in the picture. I live in Canada so it's in the snow about 7 to 8 months a year here

I like this picture, so Im posting again.

I ran over a small pile of snow. It was very satisfying. Would have ripped the MPG strip right from the bumper of a modern truck.

Technically sleet, but it accumulated a few inches and looked like snow. Tundy was a trooper. Barely slipped a tire.

The new Tundy. Handled the snow like a beast. These three peaks Continental’s the truck came with are great in the frozen stuff.

I went up to check on the cabin this past week - we shut it down over winter.
Found out the loggers are doing what they call a 10% cut in a stretch of forest north of our lake. (Forest health)
One benefit is the road going in the last mile is in better shape than during the summer. lol
they have kept it plowed and sanded over winter for hauling out the logs.

I prefer to visit the snow rather the snow to visit me. With that said.

How about some summertime TITS (sand) in the blazing sun!

    O.S.T.

When I was younger and my tits (1990) where smaller and much carefree. Yeah Small, but still fun as chit!

    small tits.jpg

As I got older my "TITS got bigger" and I purposely "sagged" the rear to reach the stuff in the bed!

The Bolo after plowing the driveway.

    20211127_101328.jpg

The Bolo towing a coworker's work in progress; he's rebuilding the motor on the Land Rover... but at the same time, he was getting out of a VERY toxic relationship. I told him I'd happily tow that thing just to get him OUT of that situation. The Bolo never even noticed the extra weight on the back.
    20220115_144641.jpg

Pulling into the Barre Civic Center to set up for the Central Vermont Gun Show - this, along with plowing, is why I BOUGHT the Bolo - plowing the driveway and towing a trailer full of guns and ammo over the Green Mountains. There was about a foot+ of snow down that day; plowed the driveway, dropped the plow and hitched up the trailer and headed out. Something odd about using 4WD on the interstate... but it was needed.
    20220204_171321.jpg

So tell me something. How the HELL do you guys keep your trucks so darned CLEAN? By the time I'm home from a car wash, the sides are coated with road salt again! Aren't there any other New Englanders out there?

Nah, it usually doesn't snow before Samhain (Halloween). Well, not OFTEN. And not real far - maybe a week or two once every few years. And it always melts by Independence Day! OK, Vermont joke there. Seriously, I'm good with taking the snows off by Beltane (May 1st). And April snowstorms aren't all that common, either.

BUT... the snow and sub-zero temps are a price I gladly pay to not MELT in 100°+ temps and 99%+ humidity during the summer!

Hey, everything is a tradeoff. If I wanted good gas mileage, I'd have bought a Toyota Pious. Decent mileage and AWD, a Subaru (I actually sold one to buy the 2018 Tundra). At least 6 months riding season (got three bikes), beautiful scenery, close to family (all in the NorthEast) and not having to hide in an air conditioned house all summer so I don't sweat myself to death... Vermont.
