Got more reset, but going to try thr Perl on my tires and maybe my interior. I'll see how I like it. Gonna need another spray bottle for thr different dilution ratios tho

I’m a big fan of Pearl.

 

I've been using optimum tire COATING for a couple years. Does well and LASTS, but not forgiving. Plus it's getting old, so it's prob breaking down sitting in my garage with my 17 year supply

 

I tried Reset for the first time with my latest purchase. It washed well but didn't seem to foam as much as I'd expected. I only used a couple cap fulls for first try. Foam Cannon is the house brand from AutoZone with the office changed to smaller size. Kinda erred on the light side being as Reset is fairly expensive. Says like an ounce for 3 gallons in a bucket so I figured in the cannon I'd get tons of foam..How much do you put in your foam Cannon?

Gotcha. About what I got, so it's likely not going to get shaving cream thickness like some soaps I'm guessing.

 

i've gotten it thicker before, but i never had much of a reason to get it shaving cream thick. in my experience and situations, it'd just be "for the gram" to get the shaving cream consistency.

 

I was hoping it was going to look like the bottom portion.

 

My plan is to clean my wheel wells really good and apply Undrdog Pro. Made all my trim looks new after a good clean, just didn't have time to do the wheel wells. Also made the trim on my daughters car look new when I polished and coated her car. So easy to use.

i don't use much on interior. typically just a damp rag to wipe off the dust. but i did see it's dilution ratio of i think 6:1 for interior plastic.
FYI....i'm liking the CarPro Perl on the tires. nice n clean, and looks good without a bunch of shine!

 

I definitely keep some on the shelf. I really like it.

 

i'm getting in the adam's graphene tire dressing in. i'm going to try that one too. i'll see which i like better. may even do one side of the vehicle in one, and the other side with the other to compare them

This just showed up today can't wait to try it out. Milwaukee's new M18 15° random orbital polisher.

 

Ordered some more Wise Guy cleaner and Classic Cut polish from Shine Supply. Was going through my detailing supplies and threw out a perfectly good bottle of classic cut thinking it was an old bottle.....dammit.

 

I had a foam cannon set up but dragging the pressure washer out each time was annoying. When the pressure washer pump died I couldn't bring myself to spend more on an electric one that will just die again in 2 years. Ordered an IK foam pro 12 and a foam pro 2 plus. I'll use the small one for an iron remover/ wheel cleaner and another for soap and foaming. Excited to try them out especially being able to pressurize them off my compressor.

 

Been thinking about going this route (IK Foam Pro 12) to use with prewash (Bilt Hamber Auto Foam). Please post pics and an overview of your results....am very interested to see how this will work for you.

Good snag! I just saw that email come through and was gonna let you know about the 25%. This is the first time I'd ordered from auto geek, I'll wait for those coupons next time.

I brought mine with me to work so I'm hopefully going to assemble it and get the truck washed onced the brass is gone for the day.
