Well a thread on Ech20 is what got me and @Pudge hooked. If the Ech20 is too expensive for you look at Optimum No Rinse. Works just as well, and slightly easier to use. It doesn’t add gloss like Ech20. Ech20 will try to streak in warmer temps but ONR doesn’t. Shine Supply Eco-Shine is great also.

You're gonna love 3D One. I've not tried it with 3D Spider pads yet, but I've used it with the Griots BOSS yellow polishing pad, as well as Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber pads. In my experience, wipe off is not quite as easy as it seems when the 'pros' use it.....its a little oily. I'll take that extra effort for the results it gives you.

 

Ordered a bunch of the Griots bottles in 22 & 35 ounce sizes. Going to switch all of my stuff to those and keep my supplies uniform.

Trust me...War Machine knows his bottles.....he ordered them. Only reason I don't have a shelf full of 22 oz bottles......is because they do not fit well in the expandable pockets of my polisher bag.....16oz size fit better for when I have to take the show on the road

That is an issue. I’ll keep a few of the 16 ounce bottles for the go bag though. I generally just keep glass cleaner, interior cleaner, and a water less wash / detail spray in it.
I plan to purge a lot of the stuff I’m not using, and transferring the remainder to the Griots bottles. Even have my handy dandy Brady labeler to tag them with.

 

Which model Brady labeler do you have?

I’ve been using it quite a while, and I’m a fan of it. It leaves a good finish, and lasts longer than most. Pretty similar to Waxaddict Tyre Feeder. Doesn’t last as long, but cheaper and easier to acquire.
It seems to take less product to get the tire done than Waxaddict also. Probably because it’s thicker than Tyre Feeder so it spreads more. I haven’t really tested that opinion side by side though. It’s just my impression.
I also put Car Guys Tire Shine on the Sequoia last weekend. I really liked the look of it. We’ll see how long it lasts.

So, I dont have a show truck, but I do want the best way to protect my paints. Damn thing is too big and lives outside, usually under a neighbors tree in my driveway. What Is the best product for protecting paint long term if the truck lives outside?

my go to is cquartz coating it takes a lot of prep but the results are awesome.

 

It’s on today’s list just waiting on time zone. I know they will take care of it. To me it’s not their fault at all.

 

If you don’t want to spend a lot of time and money, I’d recommend Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax. Cheap, easy to apply, lasts a long time, and can be found at Autozone. Going on four months since I put it on my daughter’s Tundra, and it’s still holding up.

 

Keep hearing good things about that.....might have to try it
